    Woot, update time

    New:
    • USS Rhode Island (Nova Variant) has been moved to IN DEVELOPMENT since it showed up on the Calendar today. Surprise!!
    • Added DTNE Dev Diary #4 - the final one, plenty of shots of her out there now.
    • Added Archer Class
    • Added Ex-Astris shuttles page.
    • D7 Cruiser - Already Listed
    • Daedalus Class - Already Listed
    • Probert Ambassador - Already Listed (Way ahead of you guys :) )
      Merian Class - Already Listed

Ares is a fan design - can't add that, sorry - And I don't think we can get much closer on the early Sovereign designs than we have with the 3 variants already in game.

    Keep em coming :)

    Constellation +

    Or a VA level Cheyanne/Stargazer/Dakota

Whatever happened to the idea of letting us 'level' up ships at the cost of EC/Resources ?

Raven type isn't a fan design... Aries class was an additional name for it...

Read what I wrote, the USS ARES - it was linked in a post 3 or so below yours

Not sure how I missed your post, must have rolled it in with the shuttles entry, I'll fix that.

Not a canon ship, but I would love to see a new 'Miranda style' ship kitbashed from the Excalibur. Or a Miranda style Sovereign kitbash at a higher tier.

Also a pre-refit Miranda class as an alternate skin for the T1 ship would be neat. Appeared in one of the Early Voyages comics.

I would like to see a Fed. carrier. They already have the peregrine fighter in game and could even use runabouts and shuttles as "fighters."

My first idea would be to design a new escort model to replace the Akira and use the Akira as the model for the carrier, since it was supposed to be a carrier to begin with.

Personally as a section 31 officer I would love to have a Black Hull Option , I know this is not really a ship design but hey it would be cool........ I notice that the new console that comes with the "Rhode Island" gives you a black hull while the decoy ship is about, so this is already in game and should be easy to do... at least for science ships.

    As for ship classes..

Wells Class is a must as is the Duantless, fingers crossed for one or the other.

    1. The Raven released as a kind of large shuttle-type craft (the one from ST:VOY; The Hansen's ship).

    2. The ability to collect various mission-related trophies to decorate your ready room or quarters with (not like the current kill or FA trophies but objects of some significance like McCoy's Medical Tricorder (from when you meet him in "Everything Old is New") or an (albeit small) chunk of the Doomsday Device to put in one of those "suspension / floatation frames" (as seen in ST:VOY - Year of Hell; what the antagonist has that last remnant of his homeworld in). T'would be cool. After all, canon captains set the precedent with their little nick-nacks - Picard's pan-flute thing, Sisko's baseball, and Janeway's beloved coffee cup!

    3. The ability to meet and interact with canon characters, maybe even bring some into the main storylines, like Janeway (a MUST!), Chakotay or Will Riker. Pretty much anyone except for Luxwana Troi or "the boy"!!! Meeting McCoy and Scotty in the Devidian series was really cool. More like this would be fun. I'm pretty sure Admiral Janeway would work well as the head of (a newly revived) Starfleet Borg Taskforce.

    4. Linked into point three, it would be good to have some unique Borg counterparts to give that antagonist faction a bit more character. I know we're supposed to be getting the Queen with the release of "Into the Hive" but having other counterparts underneath her as kind of senior henchies would be fun. Think of how ST: Armada pulled off the ressurection of Locutus; or how the CCG game did the special Borg counterparts (Gowron, Boriel, Tomalawk).

EDIT: Just noticed this was a ship-only wishlist. My bad. Oh well, the above still stands.

Maybe the Wambundu class as a low tier light cruiser of the TNG era. The Decipher STCCG designed the USS Drake as a smaller version of the Galaxy class, with it's All Good Things Set. :)

    http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Wambundu_class

Beside this i would looove (with sugar on top) to see T5 versions of the Norway, Steamrunner, Saber and Akira class. That would make much more sense than the Excelsior, or a possible Constitution imo.

Not only "Yes", but a "HAIL, YEAH!!". I've always loved the New Orleans-class. I always felt it bridged the TOS and the TNG better than the Enterprise-D did.

I've also always had a soft spot for the Larson-class destroyer from the old FASA StarFleet Battles game. This is the USS Richthoffen , one of the first Larson-class ships I ever found on the net, over 10 years ago now.

If it wasn't for copyrighting and all that noise, I'd love to see the Achilles Class from DS9: Dominion Wars. I orginally wanted that ship before I saw the Luna :)

(watch from 1:40 to see Achilles)

Wouldn't mind seeing the Cardassian's huge Hutet-Class ship either-
    http://www.simonandschuster.com/specials/dominionwars_site/Special_Page_Hutet_Schem.gif

Type 11 Shuttle and Recon ship-

If Feds did get a Carrier I'd like to see the Typon class from Star Trek: Invasion-

I think we should see more Gorn, Orion etc ships on the KDF side. Even some of the NPC enemy ships would be welcome :)

The ability to put TOS nacelles and skins on a Miranda would be cool... or for that matter to be able to put them on any Starfleet ship.

I think three great Federation ships would be the USS Relativity (the future ship from the Voyager series), the USS Pegasus (from The Next Generation series) and the Yellowstone Shuttle Class (From Voyager).

A ship for both KDF and the federation could be an Alice shuttle (Voyager series) that had neuro-mematic controls, it allowed Tom Paris to control the shuttle with just his mind. In the game it could have great maneuverability, speed and an ability where most shots taken at it are missed.

I think the alreadt came up with that in endgame episode. you see admiral janway controlling her shuttle and it is even mentioned by the doctor and the admiral.

Good point, having a universal console or a shuttle like that in the game could be very sweet.

The ship I would like to see the most is the Bajoran lightship from the DS9 episode Explorers. Obviously, it would be a very weak ship, but I love its appearance.

    FINAL PHASER SOVEREIGN REFIT -

    From Memory Alpha

    Refit
"According to John Eaves, the Enterprise-E was to have been retrofit at the end of Star Trek Nemesis but due to budgetary reasons and script changes the Enterprise was only seen being repaired in dry dock. "For the end of the film the badly destroyed and damaged E is being rebuilt in space-dock. This is where the opportunity was given to really fix all the lines and flow to match the roots of where the original drawing had left off. Not too often does one gets the chance to rework a beloved piece of art, and I was so happy to get the chance regardless of how minor the changes were."
"The drawings were done and to be seen as the E leaves the space-dock at the end of Nemesis, with what we were hoping to get approval on being the new aztec patterned paint job, that was so prominent with all the preceding variations of the Enterprise. As production went on, it was becoming clear that Nemesis was going to be the last of the TNG movies and thus, the E would fly no more. Very sad thoughts, and I was so hoping to at least to get to see that final version fly off into space… Budget and script changes kept the E in the bay under repair so all that exists of the big finish only exists on paper as a bunch of plans."

How about some costumes for customizing the shuttles? I just mentioned in another thread how I'd like to see an Intrepid Aeroshuttle costume, and maybe a Nova Waverider one. There's dozens more shuttle types out there that can be applied as costumes to the existing shuttles, rather than make whole new ships...

I'd like to see the Ambassador prototype as an additional skin for the Ambassador class. The Merian class is, like Vesta class, from TrekLit and featured both in the VOY relaunch novels ("Children of the Storm") and the SOTL 2012 calendar.

    http://drexfiles.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/rademaker_final_sotl_2012_r02.jpg

(The Merian could be a Commander Level Science Vessel and an alternative skin for the Miranda class Light Cruiser)

    I concur... along with

the Vesta Class, Type 9 Shuttle, Type 10 Shuttle, and Akira Refit.
