Thanks for updating the first page. After thinking about it, I have a few more thoughts. Perhaps we should not run ALL the missions. After all, what motivation is there for new KDF players to play if they already did the content. Maybe only have up to the commander level missions on the schedule.
And also, are we going to have specific times? "Mondays" is very general. Perhaps we could have several times available that day and have people sign up who are willing to lead. For example, 7pm EST, 9pm EST, and midnight EST (for those on the US west coast). Just using those times as examples, and I think we should be flexible for the leaders of the mission.
Oh, and also, for PVP arenas/cap n hold/etc, those are level banded, so we would need people with lower level alts. Sadly, Lt level PVP is not that fun, and I think it would be hard to get enough low level Feds qued up. (unless we have people to que up for KvK).

Please keep in mind this isn't just for newbies. It's for people with Klingons that hit say LC an got bored or Capt 1 or whatever. It's also not just a US event. This is open to everyone in all time zones. This means placing certain times on things would be pretty prohibitive.
I feel comfortable having theme days where all participants can select a certain thing to do that day in each category. I've also stated that if you want, or your group wants, feel free to run whatever you like. The schedule is more of a guide for people so they can expect at least a few people to be organizing these specific things on those days.
I'll help out when I'm on in anything, PvE, PvP, and STF. I'm on after 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm EST M-F and usually after 3:00 pm to whenever Sat and Sun.
I'll monitor the KlingonAwarenessWeek channel for the week when I'm on. I will have some fleet members on hand to run thru the Infected STF for Friday, Sat, and Sun if any one needs to get their Klingon thru it. If S4 is not out yet we have a ST server that we use for voice chat.
Go get your fleets and lets get some posts in that thread and show some enthusiasm! No rough housing though! Keep it civil, ignore trolls, and if you have certain times and certain things you want to do in those times feel free to mention it! Same if you have Klink fleet events going on that week and want outsiders to join you!
This is a great chance to build up your Klingon fleet with new recruits!
Bit of an update. I'll be leaving mid week for a family reunion so the trivia contests will be between the 10th and 12th, with maybe some on the early 13th.
Hello I am Bulldog and I am a Life Time Subscriber to Star Trek Online. Being a unpaid Mercenary I am offering my services. I can help flesh out a STF or PVP Team. My normal hours in game are 6PM to 11PM central most evenings send me a friend request and or a in game mail.
I have a Klingon Defense Force Brigadier General: Tactical in a raptor(DPS), Eng. Com. 8, and Sci. Lt. 9
I have access to a Ventrilo voice server to help with teaming.
If your Fleet is Inactive join the dark side and become a Mercenary.
Better Fleetless and a lot of friends, then being in a inactive fleet with fleet politics getting in your way of having fun play more STO.
Just wanted to ask, is anyone going to be throwing together any Roleplay events for Klingon Awareness week? It'd be wonderful to jumpstart First Cities Roleplay community.
Hi I'm a fairly new lifetime member to STO have a cople of Fed toons but have always liked the Klingon culture and ethos!
To my shame I havent started a Klingon character yet however when on Tribble at the weekednd created one out of curiostiy, then the First City blwe me away!
Far better then ESB feels more alive imo!
Wandering round doing those introduction quests was really interesting and a great introduction to the starting area, was highly impressed.
So I'll be starting a new klingon character for this event, any tips on the choice of proffession would be appricated.
Hope to see you all out there and bring honor to the empire

Well, none of the professions is "wrong". Just try to pick a profession that works well with the species you choose. Many KDF species have traits that lend themselves for tactical carreers though.

This is a good idea. I'm a roleplayer myself.
My original plan was to lead groups through Foundry content. But the Foundry is currently off line. So, in the meantime, I think RP will be the way to go.
Ok then. It's settled. Role play party in the Bar in First City. We'll play it up as some sort of drunken celebration over a victory or glorious death of someone important or something.

So very frustrating. I was looking forward to completing Episode 3 in time for KAW, but depending on when the Foundry comes back up and what state it's in (how much I'll have to edit Episodes 1& 2) Ep.3 may not make it in time.:(
Make sure to post updates like these in the STO General thread since we're also trying to appeal to people who might not have a Klink or visit the Klink forums.
In honor of Klingon Awareness Week, I made something for Klingons everywhere. With the massive assistance of a huge number of KDF STOked fans.
It's tacked onto the end of this week's STOked, but I think I'll upload it separately in the near future. 'Til then, you can follow the link to the timecode where my project begins: http://youtu.be/WTyDiLJEwt8?t=30m23s
and the KDF gameplay parity upgrade comes int o existance.
I was thinking of getting sound bytes from those whom play the KDF hardcore enough to be able to say , " I'm < toon name> Warrior of the KDF " be they Klingon, Orion, Gorn or Nausician and using them in a episode of the gates Of Stovokor.
I also would need to discuss it with the other GoS guys/gals to make sure I'm not stepping on snybodies toes.
We need to push for the the KDF upgrade to happen by offering ideas of what we would like to see added in to the story that is the Klingon Empire and what it is made of and how life in it is.
I would like to see more stories about the Undine Hunt, Our fued with the federation , How we expanded the Empire in the wake of the Romulan homeworld dying and some Qo'nos house based missions that gets one into the thick of Klingon Politics and intrigue.
Surely house fueds exists and are quite... robust I would think.
And Simple patrol missions becuase if for no more reason I would rather grind many things over and over again than the few we have, though excellent they are in the nature of thier crafting.
Everyhting we have gotten of late iether on Holo or Tribble is very nice and regardless of the nature of the recieving, I am happy to see them new content for us.
Now we just need to make sure we do not get unfairly nerfed due to fed hysteria..... but thats a different rant-now is not the time.
