  • I always use the +atk lvl buff unless when my barb is gonna pull large amounts of mobs. There aren't really a lot of occasions where 5 defense lvls are going to make any difference (you'd be able to survive fine without them pretty much anywhere), so might as well add attack levels.
  • And PWI blocking chinese IPs means much less bots here b:pleased
  • I imagine it's cheaper to bot yourself to high lvl than to buy yourself to high level b:chuckle very informative thread, thanks
  • *Signed* Still having fun. Then again I have yet to gain the right of opinion as I'm not lvl 101+. Only people of those levels consider the game to be 'dead', and because they only hang out with other people that level, they think everybody shares this opinion. At least, that's what I gather from their posts, since lower…
  • They're lvled to multiples of 10, because that's when you get your lucky points. People level them till they see the lucky points aren't high enough for their liking, then sell them off and lvl up the next one.
  • I believe it was an example, not an actual amount. Don't get hung up on it being 'just 50 points', the idea in itself is pretty good.
  • PW MS didn't have Hercules or Phoenix.
  • The issue is that his friend can't login to the site, that's what he wants to submit a ticket for I think ;) I had the same problem when using FireFox, but when I tried in Google Chrome I could log in for some reason. So I'd suggest your friend try a few different browsers and see if that helps.
  • Some people that buy them have a good use for the regular tokens that come out, but like the chance of getting something nice (not necessarily the top end items, but items such as perfect token of best luck or platinum charms as well). If you sell the gold for money and buy the tokens you have no chance at getting anything…
  • Killed Qingzi with just a lvl 32 mage and a lvl 31 cleric the other day. It took ages of course, but hey, at least it was easy and we got full drops :)
  • When I quit a game, I simply don't log in anymore, why go through all that trouble b:shocked
  • Maybe they ate a claw BM
  • That sounds a bit like my rifle in Full Metal Jacket b:laugh
  • If you really want to test it, the only way would be in a similar way as the crit arrow myth testing.
  • either 6 str 4 dex every two lvls or 5 str 4 dex 1 vit every two lvls
  • Yes, a tanker generally puts 'excess' into vit :)
  • I use fists for questing / bosses and axes for grinding. Fists for questing because they often make you kill mobs that use magic, which means you can't AoE them. Fist users rely just as much on your physical defense as axe users, and not so much on dodge, because hitrate / dodge don't really mean much in PvE it seems.…
  • It's a well rounded build for an axe warrior, with enough stats to use polearms too.
  • The polearm attacks faster and gives a chance of increasing attack speed, making them more suitable for regular attacks, while the hammers do more damage, making them more suitable for skill spamming.
  • If you are used to other games that don't require enter to be pressed in order to chat it's a bit annoying to get used to (Those games wouldn't use WASD for walking and only have F1-F12 for skills, use ctrl or alt+letter to open inv etc). You do get used to it though, even though I still forget to press enter sometimes. Or…
  • Usually you'll get between 0 and 5 mat drops :P Have had 0 mats a few times in a row or bosses dropping 1 or 2 mats consistently. It's very much a matter of luck. You get the skeleton fragments from 'regular' mobs inside the HH or from digging chests. There will be a few rooms packed with 6 chests that contain 2 or 5…
  • If you are a hybrid user than I'd definitely go for calamities, as you will only be using them for AoEing anyway, which is where they shine (especially when partied with EPs). 5% of your HP really isn't a lot when you compare it with the amount of damage the group of monsters around you can do in the time you do 1 hit.
  • Just use whatever weapons you get from quest rewards or the box
  • No such thing as shields in PW I'm afraid. For pure PvE most people will recommend going axes or axes + some other weapon types. Keep in mind though that as a BM you won't be tanking much as this is the role of the Barbarian
  • I'm an axe/fist hybrid lvl 74 now. The axes are great for grinding and the fists are great for questing/boss killing. Best of both worlds :) Don't have the cash or the SP to dip into the other weapons yet
  • There are also some of those guardian demonfires guarding a chest somewhere, they're in quite a big group tho, but it might be preferable to PKers.
  • Make it possible to have more than 3 attacks at a time on a single guild. THen scenarios like this might work out:
  • Even: lvls 2, 4, 6, 8, ... Odd: lvls 3, 5, 7, ...
  • 1. At very high lvls, with gear that has the "-interval mod" and their skills that increase attack speed, they will be able to attain real high attack speeds, meaning great damage over time. 2. As dodge is only useful against physical attackers, and your main problems will be against magic attacks, I'd prefer the magic…
  • Does alpha male set the aggro to a certain lvl like that barb Aggro AoE skill? Or does it actually add aggro?
