If you wanna solo then you should have gotten a herc. Pheonix is all damage but defense similar to normal pets. The herc has buffs which damn near double his defensive capabilities.

If a legit guild is setting the bid then there is no rules being broken. =/ Gm's will not ban people for what you are talking about.

+1. I read somewhere on the forums that someone grinding at lv 80 with 50% esoterica gets like 3% an hour. If thats true then these higher levels will be hitting a brick wall soon. If you play enough then you will catch up.

From what I'm seeing ingame so far...if you wanna be any kind of strong (pvp or pve wise) then you will need a legendary pet. You will HAVE to farm for legendary or buy it with $ at one point or another.
