  • You never want to hear... "Hey so how does this squad thing work? I have been only doing oracles up until now." b:chuckle
  • Point well taken. I was just concerned about the it being considered "budget" equipment but I do see that compared to some lvl 80 gear it wouldn't be that bad especially if you were able to collect most or all of the DQ orders by then. I wasn't really recommending it but just wanted it added as an option for interval gear…
  • Well there you go. I love being sparkley b:laugh
  • I gathered to TT components to make the SW Crossbow at 60 and it worked really well. Once I hit 70 I sold it off and used the money to buy Wind and the Clouds. Really great DPS and readily available on AH for good prices.
  • Kiting is attacking mobs then moving around to keep some distance between you and them so you can continue attacking at range without them getting you. It can work well if you have open areas and are attacking melee mobs. You might be dying because of the skill choices and order. I usually start out with Take Aim, Vicious…
  • I know this thread got necro'd but it has some very good information. One thing I noticed that probably should be clarified. These bracers aren't just 'more expensive' they are seriously expensive. Either in the cost to get the mold with dragon orders or to buy on the open market. I have seen good ones going for $15mil and…
  • That's about right on price. If you get the +5 strength it would sell better than +4 obviously. They used to be worth more but there are a lot of +1 crit rings out there as rank gear and with the teacher daily it isn't as sought after.
  • Would all the bonus Dex from EvilStare bumping up your crit rate balance out the damage difference or would the rate increase be pretty negligable?
  • Ok give me his address. I am Expedia's site now to book a flight. LOL
  • you can AOE with barrage but not sure if it's really any more effective for grinding than single killing unless you have a mana charm.
  • If anybody has spent $18,000 on this game please reply with your address so I can personally come over and slap some sense into you. LOL
  • Ok well if he is then really I think a sin starts getting easier after you get bloodpaint and sparkburst. Then he really starts to "own" after you get double spark. Is this sarcasm? Because if not wtf are you talking about getting one shotted by normal mobs?
  • what's even cooler I think is when you rise to the surface and activate your wings. In that couple of seconds of transition you are a flying mermaid.
  • Ok thanks. Looks like it's pretty clear which one I should go after.
  • Maybe you would do better in groups if you changed the order to BUFF/HEAL/RES LOL j/k I think the general consensus is that a sin has a definite place in a squad for DD but can be flexible to tank if needed with a strong supporting group because it is difficult at times to find barbs or clerics for that matter.
  • I don't understand this thread at all. LOL Can the OP clarify what they are asking about? (ie. killing normal mobs, killing bosses, killing other players, etc)
  • A good bow helps you damage mobs at range and then you hot key back to daggers when they get close to finish them off. Bows are also good with some bosses that AOE so that you can still do some good damage without getting hurt too bad or pissing off the party's cleric.
  • Exactly, some quests that require normal drop items or mats (like herbs or stones) can either be gathered cheaper but taking more time or can be bought for various rates from other players. Unless you need the cash it's usually a good idea to hang on to any DQ items you collect and to farm any mats you find close to you in…
  • You will find folks hunting or doing the same quests in certain areas a lot as you level up. If you want, you can try asking them to group with you to kill stuff quicker which most usually do (in my experience). Some will ignore you, some will threaten you, some will try to kill steal from you until you leave (rare).…
  • Does anybody know the general going price for rainbow eggs now?
  • If you are sizing up other characters and don't have an eye to look at specifics you can't really tell for sure. You can look at their gear and see what the min level on it is. Between that and the quality/attributes on the gear it can give you a ballpark estimate on what they would have but it could be different depending…
  • That would be pretty sick to have. Although if it truly is rank 8 gear I probably will never get it. b:chuckle
  • You do learn it from the assassin trainer. The skill is called Tide Form. It only works in water and you should probably just stick with level 1 until you get high enough level to have spirit to burn.
  • Thanks for the replies guys. In what way is shadow legend better? ie. less pots needed, more dmg, etc
  • While I think the idea for the contest is pretty good and could bring folks together to get creative, the decision to make the prize only going to the person submitting the shot is pretty lame. If you want a faction bonding kind of contest then everybody in the faction should get a prize for winning. Maybe something like a…
  • Take away the hammer and make the chest spew forth tokens....yes we need more tokens! Tokens for everyone! Tokens I say!!!! b:laugh b:shutup Truthfully, while on the subject of hammers take away the requirement to use one on the stash box. The lvl 50 weapon isn't worth the cost and then people can no longer use the stash…
  • It can be used for runners if you don't have Tackling slash but really Raving slash isn't a very good skill. I wouldn't invest more than 1 level in it. Sins get a skill later on that reduces attack speed of enemies and that one is definitely worth getting.
  • It was hard for me to find a squad for tusker too. Luckily I was finally able to get a couple faction folks to come down and help me. In general you don't find a lot of low level squads for things. Usually it's either high level chars hear you need help and give you a hand or when questing you may find 1 or 2 people who in…
  • A lot of things can really go wrong in BH's and I have been in some real frustrating ones myself. Most of the time it comes down to two things. Lack of communication/listening and lack of patience. Any class can be to blame if the player(s) has either or god forbid both of those qualities. Melees can rush in too quick,…
