From what I've read, it seems it only hurts you when you attack, activate a skill or pot. Accumulated with the constant onslaught of the spells coming at you plus the damage that it hits you for upon hitting, activating abilities etc, then it'd be difficult to live through. Activating the pot would only hit you once and…

From what I understand about Soulburn and how it works, theres on very viable counter to it I've not seen anyone list. It's an apothecary pot. I forget the name of it, but it makes you immune to ALL damage for 8 seconds. This eliminates the threat of soulburn entirely unless it can one shot you. If it damages you when you…

I think the attack rate should cap at 2.5 - 3 attacks per second to begin with. Fist BM's with 4 and 5 attacks per second is just stupid, especially on a high refine fist and a BM stacking dex or crit items can put a serious hurt on something. It really needs to be toned down as not even skill spam can dish out the damage…

Actually it would be slightly unfair given the cooldown time they have. They'd make them useless as the moment they were put on, they'd just be stripped right off. Much with how bleed is useless. (Except flesh ream, which everyone knows is bugged) I agree. The sage / demon skills need to be thought out carefully for the TB…

It's called match ups. Some classes excel in killing a certain type of classes than they do others. Sins excel in killing archers, clerics and any arcane wearing. Vs venos, bms' or barbs it's a very difficult and uphill fight. The best thing you do is you get the hell out of dodge when you know you can't win. It's that…

Actually you'd be surprised. I wore 2 10% evasion buffs on my BM at 8x and with archer buff I hit 4k evasion. (unbuffed it was generally hovering around 3100-3300) With will, it'd double to 6-8k evasion which I noticed a significant difference in people with and without misties. Personally I think misties are broken and…

Theres nothing wrong with soulburn. It's 8 seconds of invuln as Matoko said, but then again, fist BM's are stupidly overpowered once they cash shop and get the 3.33 - 5.00 attacks per second or just farm their butts off. I know this because I played a fist BM since the server started. (82, I quit playing for a while.) The…

First off, know this. You. Are. Squishy. Assassins are a specialty class. They strike hard, they strike true then they get the hell out of dodge. (Or gtfo as some say.) Vs BM and Barbs you run. You immo and you run. Unless you KNOW without a doubt you can take them, you don't bother. Heavy armors have high physical resist…

Basically a lot of these ideas could be incorporated to work together. For example, if a single faction owns x amount of lands, lets say...twenty (20) lands. Then there is a possibility that a wraith attack can happen at anytime and as a faction owns more lands, more lands should be able to be attacked. For example: If X…

Hard work is measured in one's own mind. Everyone thinks their hard work is worth more than the person who would be working next to them. This is human nature. In any case, TW isn't about hard work anymore. Most guilds provide free rides to their "employees" who show up for work, aka TW. Basically they show up for an hour…

The problem The Kin has with TW's in general is they're far too short. They're basically set up the same way RF Online set up their chip wars, however those lasted longers and had more people and it was a 3 way battle. In any case, the TW system itself needs to be reworked. For one, the crystals have far too little HP and…

To me, tideborn male sins don't look all that bad. The way they move out of combat, at least while wearing my eastern suit or strider's vestment, looks sort of like a martial artist with daggers waiting. The battle stance makes it look like their evaluating their opponents feet for movement (as you can predict a person's…

-Most- of the time, the higher levels will leave you alone. Yes, occasionally someone will come by and one shot you, but it's generally only once or twice then you go back to leveling as usual. The PVP servers are not all everyone killing everyone anarchy and chaos like people make them out to be. A lot are actually really…

Where axes and fist lack, swords / polearms pick up. The two excel in single target "spike" damage. Farstrike is one of the hardest hitting skills that doesn't use chi. 100% weapon dmg + 2.2k dmg at level 10 with a range of 15 meters. Double or triple spark and yeah..Good game arcane. That skill HURTS.(I've oneshot some…

Blademaster (Axes) : These blademasters think they're ultimate warrior! This capable warrior rushes into the thick of battle with his head held high and his famous warcry "ME KEEL YOUZ!" or "FEAR MAH AXES!" The highest dealing damage over an area type, when this Blademaster runs into a problem it stops for a brief moment…

Actually, thsi game does need some serious balancing. As it is, evasion is useless. USELESS. With over 3.2k unbuffed evasion and near 4k evasion, 6k with will, people can still hit me accurately, even melee. This is due to misties in which 2 give 100% accuracy. These rings SHOULD NOT stack. In fact, I think accuracy…

Glacial spike is far from useless in my opinion. While it may not be as good as an amplify damage, a -50% m.def AND p.def for 10 seconds is very good in not only TW, but also AoE parties and bosses. The skills will still hit harder. Regarding the demon version, that honestly surprises me. While a 50/50 chance to make all…

The Kin is reminded of the fish from Super Mario Bros...Anyone else?

The problem that The Kin has with anni packs is the fact they give weapons and armor. Not just weapons and armor but end game weapons and armor. Creating balance issues like that between Free players and Paying players is one thing a company should never do, but the damage has already been done. If they do decide to keep…

Draining coin would be simple if they really intended to do it. If Jone's was really to drain coin from the economy set him to ONLY accept 50,000 or 100,000 coins. The coin is not going to another player but instead a NPC. This would effectively take that much coin out of circulation. As it stands, all Jones is doing is…

Wait, so it's okay for you to one shot us for 7k consistently? That's not overpowered? /boggle. We finally get some survivability and you complain it's OP? Okay, The Kin can see how it is a bit overpowered...Perhaps shorten the duration to 8 seconds or so.. But honestly there has to be counters out there to this. Just…
-
The shield will probably have a maximum duration of 10 seconds or so. Hopefully. Enough to be useful, but not enough to be overpowering. For those of you crying about it, let The Kin explain something to you all. Bm's are crippled in PK because of the fact that most of us can't use marrows in PK. Nearly every class has…

The Kin will only say this once in regards to the flesh ream bug. Currently at level 78 with a P.def of about 9k or so self buffed, F.ream hurts like hell. It does about 800+ a tic and The Kin is a heavy armor BM. Now, The Kin uses both fist and polearm, so he decided to test polearm and bleed skills in PVP. Together, both…

Genies, though hereafter referred to as Spirits because The Kin refuses to acknowledge them as genies, are absolutely wonderful. However, they are equally not as wonderful because they suck up your hard earned experience and spirit. Now the thing with these little creatures is that their buffs are all short lived. That…

Greetings. The Kin is currently a level 76 Fist Blademaster so, he will try to answer your questions. 1. Do fisters evade many physical hits from monsters? The Kin's Thoughts: Census would say yes normally. However this purely depends on your build. Blademasters gain more benefits from Dex than Archers so they have higher…
-
Agreed, but that is what's so puzzling about it. Why would something like this be intended? It literally would be considered game breaking (balance wise and such.) It really doesn't make much sense to let one single class go like that. Perhaps the devs got lazy and miscoded something and never bothered to fix it? [shrug]
-
So wait, if the Kin spends 200$ will all his skills magically ignore PVP rules? Will his dual spark magically do 3500 dmg + 60% of weapon damage and one shot everyone? That would be really nice. Surely you see how unreasonable that sounds...paying 200$ real cash is still no reason for it to magically ignore PVP reductions.…

The Kin insults noone when he says this, but Common sense dictates that if it something quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, and swims like a duck, then it is a duck. So with that in mind, the Kin's bleed does about like 1840 dmg or some weird number like that. In PVP, it hits for around 60ish - 160ish per tick (forgot…
