Ok, I think I fixed it. Ran a system restore to a previous point(I had done some updates and I guess they conflicted with the game somehow), then ran verify again and now i can get into the game^^

I too, had the same problem as you. I did a system restore to a previous point, then ran verify again and it seems to have fixed my problem.

I have a similar problem. Except that it just started today(Feb. 5) after the latest patch. I turned my anti virus off completely, verified my install, did not use Arc, and I just played the game yesterday with no problems! If you need any more info, let me know please?

I agree, emergency server reboots may solve the problem. Considering how long it took for you to post a sticky about the problem as opposed to how long the problem has been going on does not bode well for your finding a 'solution'!

Apparently, the problem is across all servers. I noticed that most of the posts here were at around 10 - 11 a.m. For me, it is now 2:30 p.m.(Greenwich -5). I am having the same problem. i agree about Arc adding unnecessary processes to my already cluttered system.
