Just because the mob has an element ie: fire, doesn't mean it attacks with magic. If it comes up and hits you, it's physical. The fire means it strength fire defense, so you don't want to attack it with fire attacks. If the mob is metal, you don't want to attack with metal attacks etc.

If you're going to just grind to lvl your pet, I would do the one man army quests. They don't give you any extra exp then you would grinding, but you get some rep when you do it.

There isn't one class that you rarely see. I see all classes regularly so I don't think there is a "rare" class. That being said clerics are excellent if you want to be wanted by everyone. If your going for the least played class, that might be a wizard, because of their lo survivability.

The expansion really only comes in to play when you're lvl 70+. Here's the information about it.

I don't think it does. I've been with people before who arrgoed two mobs on accident, and one came after me because I was healing. I flew and continued healing the person from the air, and I didn't notice reduced affects. You might want to get a second answer on this one though.

You get a quest from the pet skill trainer to either gather 20 fodder/hay, or get a cage which can be bought with real money.

The point of heavy armor venos is they use the latest armor, and yes that means they can't use the best magic weapon magic weapon. Heavy armor build is fairly popular, and I don't think I've seen any heavy armor veno use lower grade armor and best magic weapon. If you do that, you might as well wear light armor.

They changed that didn't they? So the characters that were deleted during the time that you couldn't recover your name, are permanently wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you delete your character now, you can reuse the name.

Most of the time (I would like to think) ksing is by accident. I know I've done my fair share of ksing on accident. I always apologize after to avoid argument, even when it probably wasn't my fault. I shall also add that if you don't want to spend real money on the cage, trash the quest, and get the one that you have to get hay/fodder for.

My veno doesn't have her ears showing, but neither do my other chars. I guess I'm just not a fan of ears :P.

For the most part. At my lvl all other classes are pretty good at soloing, so there's not a ton. Ask in the area you're in for people doing the same quest, and often you can at least find another cleric to party with. I've heard 35+ and you get party requests like mad.

omg, this made me laugh so much. Swords are good because its blademaster and wizards can use magic swords.
