Do you hide or not hide the ears...

I noticed that a lot of venos tend to hide their humanish ears, and so I thought, "Is it because they haven't or can't come up with an appearance that looks good with the 'normal' ears exposed, or because they want to mimic the traditional anime catgirl look?'".

So I decided to open a thread asking everyone with a veno character thats willing to post a closeup screenshot of their head area and give their inputs on why they hid their ears or leave it visible, and their opinions on the subject.

I'll post a link to my screenshot(s) later.

    I'm guessing for the cat-girl look. Honestly, I don't know if my human ears are visible or not, I never really paid attention.

    I was originally thinking of a long-haired model, but I fell in love with a spunky, shorter style. As a result I have both pairs visible.

    Looks a little strange but I don't mind it particularly.

    Personally I'm working on an updated version of my venomancer's appearance that embraces the ears since deer/bat venos don't have a set of animal ones for their subspecies. So far I like how its turning out b:cute

    if that was the case, then venomancers would be listed under the human race and not the untamed...but its not apparently.

    I think we should be allowed to change hairstyles. In previous games where there were a limited number of faces to choose from, it made sense to lock the hairstyle - it created more character combinations to distinguish between different people's characters.

    But in this game, there are almost infinite variations in how you make the face look. So locking the hairstyle isn't really necessary. You should be allowed to change it just like in RL. Hide your ears or show your ears as you see fit.

    Course barbs can customize almost nothing...

    My veno doesn't have her ears showing, but neither do my other chars. I guess I'm just not a fan of ears :P.

    My understanding is that humans and winged elves are actually related.
