We're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. If I hear any news, I'll post it in here.

Thanks!

Update: We're still having some routing issues, which we're trying to resolve with our ISP, but it shouldn't be affecting everyone like it was earlier.

Update 2: Looks like the issue may now be resolved. Please try and log in and let me know if you still cannot.

There's a bit of a time zone gap between East Coast Servers and where PWE GMs work from. Patience is a vertu. I go play stuff on steam while I wait.

It was 7:45am their time when the first post about this problem was posted they has plenty of time to do something. And I never said I had patience, but think we all have been pretty calm about waiting for most of the day for a GM to take notice and fix this issue.

    This

If the issue can be quickly identified and resolved there's no reason to post it, after a few fix attempts they probably failed enough that they decided it was time to announce it. If you haven't noticed, the forums here are VERY hostile towards the PWI staff. They probably dread talking to us.

Reading this and the other topics makes me have no doubt as to why they would not want to say anything at all or tried to delay it.

Though, I don't know why you would waste most of a day waiting for a free MMO to come back online?

One of the reason people tend to be hostile is becasue of the lack of communication from the GMs. As far as any of us know they just noticed there was a problem, or they just don't give enough of a damn to let us know they notice. Either way it makes them seem uncaring and thus people will feel hostile towards them. A simple, "We know are working on it. " from the start is better then nothing. If they don't want us to read into things. then the best thing they can do is talk to us. We'll be a lot more understanding if we are informed, even if it's just to say we are still working on it and don't know what the problem is. js

Because it's raining and I'm stuck indoors and was hoping to play on the game, instead I've been playing another game and checking back here on and off all day to see if the game is up. Why is it any of business what I do with my time? I don't care what you do with yours and will spend my time as I choose.

I've noticed that too, regarding the east coast servers... looks like they're down more often than the others. aside maybe europe/morai.

At this point... I think this issue needs to be investigated. all online games go down sometimes, it's expected, but the amount of times east coast servers go down is pretty high.

wow, you guys really blow at keeping servers up huh? i've seen home basement game servers stay up longer than yours. you'd think after the few times it's happened already you'd get your **** in check. the player base affected by this time after time sees you guys as a bunch of idiots who use too much duct tape instead of actually fixing the problem. why even have maintenance if it doesn't even seem to do jack ****?

on a side note, this is a ftp game that allows people to charge money and contains CASH items with timers. those people who do charge reserve the right to QQ. and these "compensations" you give out are pathetic compared to what could be earned during the server outages.

If any of you (having the connectivity issue) can provide a trace route, that would help our staff immensely.

In the meantime though, we're still having trouble figuring out what the issue is.

Those are the 3 east coast server addresses. tracert one of those and post it.
