I had read the TOS. I understand that PWI has no obligation to correct their mistake but at some point enough IS ENOUGH. I am a customer and have put in some of my cash into this game; and, as such, I think I'm entitled to file a complaint, escalate to Mountain View, CA and if necessary, all the way to China.
Truth is corner office execs do not want to be bothered with stuff like this. That is where mid-management comes in to deal with it. Problem is they are not or choose not to. In either case, it appears PWI policy is to ignore problem in hopes that the player community give up.
Well I'm not going to give up. Correct this error, ban me, or put this game to rest, IGNORING ME IS NOT AN OPTION.
I agree... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH PWE..... too many years of letting your silence, you closed eyes to abuses, your unfixed mistakes and your unfairness to players go.... At least once in your live move that old limbs of yours and do something to make things right.0 -

I don't know if it's address to me since I posted and did mention DoD, but I didn't said DoD lied, I said he's probably only the messenger and did what he was told to do (told to post about investigating, punishment and blablabla).
DoD probably have no idea that the staff are telling players in tickets that there will be no punishment.

If you entered the code more than once you did so well aware of the glitch and out of greed. Kossy you do realise that everything would be soooooooo much easier if somebody from above you found 5 minutes to clarify a few things?
Its been what 300 pages since they updated anything?

Some people didn't get the code from forums and didn't see the one per account message. Since they didn't see the message odds are that some actually just followed the instructions of redeeming again 10 minutes later. So you can't say for sure that there weren't any innocent people out there.0 -

Call them, I have friends that did call directly and got their issues fix really fast by calling them, apparently on the phone the staff are really professional and polite vs the staff that answer tickets.
I never did need to call them, I never got issues important enough for that, but if people can why not to try that.
From what I heard on the phone customers are treat really well and they take it seriously.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

True... but lots of people don't realize that either. Can't really blame them much since we don't know if they've tried fixing the page beforehand or not (we have no proof either way but it broke again here so as far as the regular person would assume, they didn't even try). Meh... the whole thing sucks overall for everyone involved.

Regardless of HOW they got the code no one deserves to have the free extra +10 orbs cept the initial 3 unless they got them from a glitch i hear people did get more than 3 from one code entered. Which is why I don't even bother with tickets for this kind of ****. The code was only supposed to work once but instead it gave instructions to use it again to some people. I understand that people shouldn't have gotten more than others but in the end it's not entirely the player's fault. Instead of banning they should just fix their gears and then everyone will be happy.0 -

but pwi has made it clear that those of us who didnt get to use the code unless on arch server just get punished pretty much because jerks abused it so they canceled it early.
IDK maybe pwi could just have FIXED THE GLITCH and left the code up till the 24th as promised.
But the people on Arch, who lost days of XP, coin, unrecoverable items, refines, rerolls, and even characters should be the first ones compensated for that, don't you think??
But that seems moot at this point, like all of you from other servers, I didn't get it either.0 -
I really wonder how PWI doesn't get charged and gets away with murder (albeit of their own game). You are providing a service that many of us pay for. You allow many users to abuse the system and then those of us that just want the orbs we are supposed to be able to get CANT!!! WTF??? You really know how to show you care about your customers PWI.0

or even a one week full expenses paid vacation to a place with no net so you can let others deal with it. RAWR... albeit venus arguably deserves that a little bit as well. As for the other mods... I am not so sure (and no offense to them) but yea I am not sure they 'deserve' a medal/reward for having to deal with this insane uproar, no matter how easy it is to understand why people are upset. I DO think arch players should get compensation for that. I think they are the ONLY ones who should have gotten anything to begin with. But because pwi decided to give a code to all they now made a smaller problem HUGE, and everyone effected should be compensated. If theyd just delt with the actual issue at hand to begin with none of this would have happened anyway.
and yes if they roll back servers I lose days of farming bh etc, but id prefer that to people who intentionally OR unintentionally were able to +10-12 their chars with 0 work, which now makes my +10 char I worked hard for laughable. Its given a complete unfair advantage to many whether they intentionally cheated or not, and those of us who just didnt put in the code prior to them canceling it early nothing.0 -

They do have access to our accounts, they can do what they please with each one of them, and they do monitor what each account has gotten/where it went.

Hmm instead of going directly to number 3 I have another idea... after removing the items whether they have to do it during maint or not...
2.2: After removing items, they throw a huge event for those who didnt abuse it, and make those who abused the glitch 'regret' ever doing the glitch. (Yes this is easier said than done, as you obviously dont want an event that make everyone filthy stinking rich, but still an event that has some very nice rewards that those who abused this glitch missed out... would probably appease 90% of the people who feel they got left out. (depending on how good of a reward/event it is of course/well it 'dishes' out the rewards.)Ah, Mistakes are so easily made. ~ laura resnick
