    Not really, I just have the same feeling now that I did then.. :p Tao was my place then and I defended it, but being in GD I know what I missed.. Im sure Enrage then was more like GD is now, thats why they had so many people staying and not coming and going.. I dont copy paste, but I havent changed :p

    I can give you the cause behind this. Exe was one of the first 80 members in Tao, and I can say that about 90% of ex Tao that was around during the first 120 members can still say decidedly, we loved what Tao was during those days. Some of us saw Tao declining after Edya's personal life got in the way of her continuing to lead and we took multiple paths, some clinging to what Tao was and constantly trying to reignite it, others seeing that it couldn't be that again, moved on more quickly.

    Edya made a fantastic leader and a fantastic faction spawned off that. Moon has developed many of the traits that Edya exhibited during those days, and though in the case of GoldDigrz, I hope that the brilliance of the faction isn't reliant on the brilliance of the Leader, I am grateful for her process.

    Exe raves about GD the way he raved about Tao because it has many of the same aspects that made Tao great in the beginning, mainly a strive to succeed and improve together. A united drive forward to whatever our faction may become, but we have a drive, and it's that that's important, and that is the exact aspect of GD that makes GD my home, no matter how good we may get individually, we all seek to improve what GD is.

    May that instill a sense of pride that the server envies? Yup.
    May that boost a sense of arrogance in our members from what they have achieved? Yup.
    Does that make us worthy of spite? ...

    And that's what I think Jes posted this thread about. We're unsure of the cause of the spite and can find no solid reason, so, looking for evidence that we should be hated so that those who care about perception can understand.

    Also, I like chocolate.

    Umm....am I the only one that thinks a simple opinion was taken waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of proportion?

    If I claim that GD is full of hypocrites, will I get flamed?

    If Radiance is weak and QQing, will I get flamed?

    If Enrage is QQing apparently at a loss, will I get flamed?

    If Drakon is probably the worst TW faction and an embarrassment, will I get flamed?

    Keep in mind I love most of the people in GD, but here's what I've noticed.
    GD acts like they are better than Enrage (Note, I never said they CLAIM they are, I said they act like they are)
    GD may BE better than Enrage on a few aspects
    GD can cause some serious jealousy to some people
    They do act very arrogant sometimes (which makes some people pretty mad, take a win with grace sometimes guys, <3)
    Enrage is openly okay with being hated, so most people are over publicly hating them, so they need a new target to hate and get a reaction from. (I think this is the biggest reason)
    Enrage is hated for a few members who love to troll, they aren't even that over the top anymore, but I bet you can find level 3x noobs that scream hate for Enrage, because that's just how the server is.

    Just my 2 cents. Not bashing anyone, just noting observations, that's all.

    I'm fairly sure this post is rather self-explanatory -- you can replace GD with Tao in your case (especially on the brink of wiping Enrage off the map) and have the same answer.

    People dislike those who are winning. They always come up with the most amusingly convenient ways of rationalizing it, too.

    What's up with this rumor about Radiance favoring Enrage? I believe we were ganking Enrage and not GDz b:shocked... just think about it, it will make sense.. yes we have some people that like Enrage more, but we have people that like GDz more (like me) it's about half and half for the faction I suppose... I just like seeing Enrage quiet for once b:shutup.
