is 5ap being removed?

Maybe Wizards and other "unwanted" classes need to start making friends with people who'd take them to Nirvana and TT runs instead of looking for random fail squads on WC. I even take Veno as DD to Nirvana even though another 5 aps would be way more "efficient", just because I like running with them.

It's amazing how nobody is ever satisfied with what their classes can do...you get what you work for. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. b:bye

Um, the wrists would be no different from using TT99s, since you'd lose the -0.05 set bonus. So that's a +0.

You can get the set bonus without the wrists. If you were talking about archers/sins then yes, but if you use BMs you can get TT99 HA plate and boots, LA orns (sucks but used as an example here, don't do it this way) and the OHT wrists. Not possible if you use Rank gear for LA chars.

The lack of animation at this point dosent means you are not "acting" or hiting.. a good exemple for that is rubber banding..
The problem would be the internet connection.. if you dont have a very good connection it would lag anyway..

Back in the day, high levels all had a veno alt with a herc that they used to farm TTs, now just replace veno alt with herc, with BM alt with 5.0, and there you go.



Just need to adapt, I'd perfer to be a pure vit barb, but I make way more coins as a claw barb.

this is not true nirvana fist can never have 3 times 0.05 cuz 1 has to be an unique one so its 6.67 max as bm with spark. Do your homework Tony

Everyone have to start somewhere. You don't just get 5.0 and automatically can solo instances. You have to have very good refines to do that. I think Cheze gave the impression that he merched his rank8 to reach 5.0 before being 5.0, don't know if that's true or not, but if that's the case, where is your merched rank8 5.0? You'd rather make twice as much money? Well dual TT with a 5.0 until you can roll your own +10 refined 5.0 sin.

Just as you are dependent on a 5.0 to dual an instance, that 5.0 is dependent on you to survive. If it weren't for his friendship, another 5.0 would take you. Please be realistic.

Well some other DD would still need a cleric. Not everyone reach 5.0 and automatically gets endowed with +10-12 gears to solo instances.

Look if you want to solo instances, but is adamant that it has to be done with your cleric, then push for pattack and quicken buffs on demon spark and 5 chi/attack instead of 3 with PWE. Otherwise roll a sin.

Then again, you think you got "average" build and can barely tank stuff? I got 6k HP unbuffed only 4k pdef 3.8k mdef, probably pathetic compared to old servers "average" status. And I tank Nirvana, TT 3-3 how it is now (and not patched) with one cleric, solo FC, and all of those mentioned CHARMLESS and no special Apoth used. Also tanked 3-1 new GBA boss.

EDIT: Oh yeah I also finished Jungle Ruins in less than 10 minutes, something which is purely skill based and not gears. I'm willing to bet 99% of so called "pros" on old servers can't do it.

What made you think they'd consider those thing impossible? If the average gear is better on some server it doesn't mean something was impossible without those.

Difference between a 5.0 char and a caster is....

Speed - 5.0 kills faster. With Blood Paint, they do it without potting.

Range - Casters have it in great quantities. They can kill it before it reaches them.

Repairs - The damage taken by a caster is negligible compared to the damage taken by a melee char.

Consider that those 5.0s take aggro more often than the casters. That means they tank, too. So, find a way to be helpful to a 5.0 squad and get in one, or find a group of people that like to take their time and run with them. They are out there. And they will enjoy you if you can help them.

Traditionally a mage hs never been a DPS class, it is a DPH class. There is no valid reason why a caster should have DPS of that of a melee class at range. Nor is there a valid reason why a melee class should have DPH of a ranged class at range.

As it is now, gear is farmed in TT, Lunar, and Nirvana where 5 aps rule and wiznerds aren't wanted in squads. When something is powerful enough to wreck a clerics role then you know its OP. No need clerics in squad anymore with BP.

A weapon will get one major and two minor adds. -interval is not one of the major adds.
