    - Be patient to handle all sorts of requests

    Alright, I have to admit something.
    I purposely avoided this thread.

    I made this thread with a purpose.
    The purpose was to make everyone happy.
    It was because the last person who tried to do this, failed.
    They gave everyone hope of the contest succeeding and it failed.

    However, ever since I made this contest, I've been hit with so much anger.
    I was harassed, threatened, etc.
    In the forums and in the game.
    My thread got trashed by multiple people all for the sake of "trolling"
    It just got me depressed more and more as time went on.

    So, why did I just stop communicating with you all?
    I didn't want to face more disappointment but I knew I couldn't hide for long.
    I'm being called a coward by so many people, a liar.
    And I don't blame those who did call me, because I admit it, I was a coward.
    I made a thread, brought so many hopes up, and broke them.

    There is one thing I would like to do though, that the original maker of this did not do.
    I sadly am going to say this.

    The contest is over.

    I will not be continuing it, and will never, ever, reconsider it again.
    I've lost many peoples' trust because of this thread and upset countless people.
    I can now tell why so many contests have been held in PWI, but never finished.
    Until you do it yourself, you don't know how hard it is.

    I understand your reason for not wanting to continue, and your reason for not wanting to do another one of these again. I think that you admitting that this was over, instead of disappearing, was a good call :D. I think everyone should understand your reasons, and should also respect them.

    tbh, Id never do an event for such an abrasive, agressive, worthless community such as PWI's (for the most part)

    The thought of me giving my RL money to PWE makes me want to puke, the thought of giving it to them so I can buy a /b/tard some item mall loot makes me even more sick.

    This community doesnt deserve **** from you Hope, doesnt deserve **** from anyone. Just look at any topic in this forums is a perfect example of what a piece of trash this community really is, and I support your decision completely.

    Lastly I do hope the agressiveness of this online community, doesnt reflect its negativity onto you, and turn you into a bitter troll that 90% of these people are. To me you seem like one of the nicer PWI players Ive seen on forums, please dont ever lower yourself to a trolls level, youre better than that.

    Contest ended because of people who couldnt understand that they were being subject to other people's opinions (or just plain rude about something they dont really care about) and because of mismangement of contest leader in handling those people.

    Great job on holding out for so long Hope, and for coming forward and ending it cleanly. I hope you still stick around the forums though, it's really nice to see your cheerful posts (not like some of the things you ended up posting once upon a time b:surrender)

    And yes, I am abrasive towards this community since you asked.
    Thats not to say I never tried giving this community a chance because I did.

    But theres only so much unexcused trolling and agression I could take from this community before I gave up on it entirely.
    If they can dish it out, they had better be able to take it cuz I wont sit here and be walked on, while maintaining a smile.

    I absolutely know what you're talking about, but I guess we respond in different ways. You have a valid excuse per say, but for me becoming somewhat like those people because they refused to change themselves is not a good enough reason. I'm sorry if I offended you with my rather sarcastic comment, but I don't appreciate good people turning bad because apparently since they can't change the others they change themselves. Also thought it was kind of ironic how you advised her not to go down to the troll level which you seem to have taken a step into. I can tell by you saying that you did give the community many chances that you weren't like that before. I don't see anything wrong with you being cold towards the community in general, just wish you'd post in a manner that would show your disapproval without the excessive hate.
