Well, think about it. Airyll "bump'd" a LOT. And bumping topics for the pure sake of bumping IS against the rules, and always has been. So yeah, if she'd bumped only once or twice, I could definitely side with you, and say that it shouldn't be included in as one reason for her ban. But since she did it quite often, I don't see why there's a problem with including it as one (of many) reasons.

I'll take your word for it; I'm not exactly sure how often or even what she bumped. I only brought this up because of the discussion of whether or not bumping is bannable.

Grippy, this is a very well thought out thread you have put out here. Im suprised you took the time to do this in the chaos. Obviously, things have calmed down, but there are still questions and answers to come. Thank you for this organized thread, I know it's helped alot of concerned players, and it's probably helped frankie in a sense.

A: The full initiative/idea is being submitted this week. If it is accepted, the web team will start working on it, and we'd hopefully see it in action within a couple months. I'll let you know if the idea gets rejected, however.

For example, it's a lot like if there was a company picnic in the park, but you were told specifically that there is to be no alcohol on the premises. If I went up to the organizer of the event and asked "What exactly are boundaries of the picnic premise? Is being across the street considered being on the park premises?" What do you think I would be trying to get away with?

For this reason, we are unable to give these specifics and exactly why we look at TW bans and complaints on a case by case basis. There is no way we can set down a specific set of rules regarding this part of the TW bidding process.

I apologize to everyone if you felt that this was a direct attack on all players in general. But it simply was not meant to be that way. Hopefully this clears everything up.

Wow, kantorek, you just blew me away with your response, and I don't mean that in a bad way.

I realize that giving a public apology like this, may not be your first choice in dealing with something like this; however, I do thank you for taking the time to apologize, and at the very least explaining what you meant. Not to mention how it might start to sway people's opinion about you, when you make a public apology like this one, it is nice when everyone can see it, instead of just one person via a pm.

Thanks again for the apology, I am sorry we all took it as if you were attacking everyone asking for a clarification, but erm yea it was a bad choice of words when you updated it, but as I have stated before, and as frankie stated you all are just humans. Humans make mistakes all too often, and it can be easy to let one go unseen for a while. So again thanks for trying to set the record straight.

Why is pwi so lax about security? Specifically the displaying of your LOGIN names instead of character names in the core connect.
As core connect is right now the linking is disastrous and extremely hacker friendly. I'm not comfortable @ all with having mine nor my familys login names being displayed revealing 50% of what a hacker needs to know to break-in and **** an account.

I've given a ticket about it that was merely blown off

When you register, you are asked to input an account name and a nickname. The account name is what you use to log in to the game and site, and the nickname is what is shown on your CORE profile.

I've lurked on these forums off and on since I went out of my way to get myself permanetly banned from them and I have just this to say, and I hope all of you will take the time to consider it reasonably....

If Frankie and the new mods take this recent explosion of outrage and use it to make the forums a more reasonable place to be by doing what should have been done a long long time ago (and that is paying attention to the forums, and the players posting here's concerns and not minimizing them or disregarding them as they were so won't to do before), then the PWI forums have a chance to become what they were before and what they should be now, and that is a source of information and assistance to new players or even older players, that are seeking help or answers to their questions.

While Frankie and I have bumped heads hard, I have been the Admin for several large forums and the job is not worth the headaches that come with it. It takes a strong minded person to do it. And I personally respect Frankie for doing it. If any of you think you can do better, I challenge you to run your own Forum with several thousand people posting on it, before you say anything else.

I may not like Frankies style, but I do respect him for doing a thankless job.

That being said.. I would hope the PWI community would look back at the recent events, and work together, mods, cm and players, to turn the community around and start helping one another. You all have a Golden opportunity here to forge a better community out of the ashes of the old. Don't pass up the chance. You might not get another.

With respect to the Community, Frankie and the new and old Mods (even if we did bump heads).

Back in the old days I rather enjoyed the logic in his posts, as well as the wit behind them. Since MY perma-ban got slapped on a year ago though, I haven't checked the forums for like nine or ten months and since my return 2 months-ish ago I have yet to see his posts. If his attitude changed for worse in that time, I neither knew about it nor do I care that much; there are far worse people on the forums who have the same narcissism but without the logic.
