    Never had to go back to the repops & never had to repeat the instance for warriors on FB51's 8/8/8. Sorry but too many take the direct route to the bosses & forget they've only gone through about 40% of the dungeon in total. There's PLENTY of warriors in that place, without repops or re-openings.

    This. I never had any problems with that quest when I did it on my chars or when doing it for someone else. Nowadays people just tell them to wait for their BHs though.

    There is no guarantee whatsoever by taking a direct route to bosses that you get the 8 quest drops required. I remember getting it done in my first char's FB51 when we killed the ones that respawned, following having to go back for the 3rd tab, and obviously not having a high level, high DPS BM or DD in squad like mine who could kill each boss in 5-10 seconds.

    So how about that 20x3 in FB79? How many 3-3's does it take to get an orange mat? I can only wonder which turn responses to my posts will take now.

    Which means taking the direct route is not the best idea unless you want to wait for the mobs to respawn.

    In case I happen to run a FB51 I will always run through it normally and then back-track if needed.

    On all my characters & all the friends who's characters i've taken through FB51, they have all their tabs (requiring 1 exit to get final tab), the added Myriad Wyverntail quest from Misfortune, the 1/2/3 quest, & the 8/8/8 quest. And we get them all done for whoever the FB is for. You see back in the day we believed in helping people do all their quests in any FB where its possible in a single run (so obviously this ends at FB69 202020 time). FB19-FB59 we always made sure they got everything done, even verifying they had the quests before going in & not pummelling through all the mobs with the FBer out of range. Its part of the responsibility of helping with an FB.

    If you are calling it an FB, then yes...they should have at least 2 of the 3 tabs. Otherwise it would not be an FB. -.-

    And yes fb51 has a drop based quest. Potentially you can't get items in one run but that wasn't even the point.

    Are you so stupid to not see the point? He believed that you can't get them without mobs respawning -- it doesn't matter if this is true or not. I countered by saying fb69 (for example) is similar. So the respawn time of walkers has nothing to do with completing the quest. Because he seemed to think it was proving it was intended or something, I don't know.

    how is this related with the initial question which i tried to explain it, why mobs have a respawn timer? we went from one thing to another but anyway, yes it happened for others that logged out/dc to pop in someone else active instance. why is happening in the first place? i called that poor programming or bug never fixed, lots of things are poorly programmed in this game engine anyway. im pretty sure if most of the players will do that, instance saving, the buffer will get full at some point and i dont know what will happen... cant enter instance or pop in others instance? since FC is more populated i see why is happening more often there.

    Having the recycling instance identifiers is a sign of poor, lazy or misguided programming? Perhaps this was actually discussed during the coding stages. Since you seem to have an intimiate knowledge of exactly what was or wasn't discussed or expressed by the developers when they were coding this, can you enlighten us on this in more detail please?

    Having the instance not kick you out when there wasn't a timer doesn't reflect on this, it was working as intended. Mobs respawning is not poor programming, but a necessary mechanic of the game. One can say that HH bosses weren't intended to respawn, but then why the 20 hour limit as opposed to the 24 hour limit on world bosses? You can blow off any suspicion that there was no thought involved to that, but that's an assumption. We don't know if there was or wasn't. Or at least I don't, I'm not privy to the development notes or original source code.

    And again, you're also assuming that instance identifiers have some sort of number. What number is that?

    Please enlighten us to why you decided to code the instance tags the way they were done.

Then they all go to the watercooler or coffee station and whisper about how much of a freak he is and contemplate offering him to come to a party they're having so they can laugh at him.
