First post FTW! And honestly, this isn't a good idea (i don't think) People didn't like it that much the first time, so why recycle it?

Could the name of them be changed to "Halloween Packs"? And have the nightmare added to it....

i'm kinda double-edged on it. on the one side, the near 3m i spent on Ulti subs only 2 days ago is a big loss... on the other, now i can get the remaining immaculate citrines i wanted for cheaper. though, i really wish gold had gone down more >>

small edit: ah darn, thought i had first. well, 3rd is ok too. after all, 3rd is the "charm" ;)
    my name is SakuraJD
do not be fooled by the name above...

And rather than another exp event, why not an increased drop event?

Umm, can we get them removed? that is all

This. Honestly, what's the point in calling it an anniversary pack, anyway. Those were for the Anniversary, which is what we celebrated LAST MONTH. Putting it in randomly like this seems like a humongous money grab. Why not just put it in there with a name like "OP **** Pack"? Because that's what it is, really. A way for people with money to buy all the stuff they need endgame. Doing things like this is a real nice slap in the face. Anniversary packs, as stupid as they were, were for the celebration of a year of PW, not something to just stuff in the Cash Shop so people spend a ton of money. I know you're a business, but this is ridiculous.

I dont' think the packs would have caused such gold rise up if they didn't add the "extra items" like Frost, Lunar items they DO NOT MENTION in the website.

This was a bad idea. Sell orders are already 500k and the server has been up less than ten minutes.

    The duke is respamming again.

You *need* to put some mechanism in place for acquiring 'required' items such as the charms and the hammer that are uncoupled from the anniversary boxes.

And you also need to put in more weapons and equipment rewards for high-end quests.

No offense but... we tried the constructive criticism stuff last time.

Considering the "anniversary" packs are back again, obviously it didn't work.

    1. Why did pwi bring them back after having them for 1 month?

    2. What about the players who farmed weeks/months of Lunar/FF/TT etc just for players to get them in this event easily.

    3. Do you see Anni packs a gamble?

I am happy that you guys are trying to help players who don't have the time, to farm/get these items, but it makes the game very unbalanced.

Bad idea on the packs. When can we just go back to regular weekly maintenance and the occasional sale?

I'm sorry, but how exactly do I disapprove of the re-addition of a "limited" item without it being non-constructive. I mean sure I expected them again NEXT YEAR, they're anniversary packs, not all the time packs. First charm packs were permanent, now one month only packs make a return 2 weeks later. How do you expect your player base to respect a company that doesn't hold to its word.

Hold to your word and your player base will remain strong, those with issues will leave temporarily, those without issue will stay throughout.

This is a joke right? The packs drove up gold prices, which I remember being posted here would go back down when the event was over. So gold prices start dropping and they bring the packs back? Why?

I understand it's a business, and the developers want to make money. This is going to drive more people away from the game. It should have been a one time thing and left at that. Any guesses on how long before gold prices are back to over 400k again?

I have tried to look on the bright side of just about everything done. Releasing rare mounts in the cash shop, the much complained about Valentines event, the Jolly Old Jones, when folks were luring bosses to the one mob needed for oracles, but this, this is an epic failure by PW.
Life is what you make it. Just make sure you have fun.[SIGPIC]<Img Src="http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m214/Dragonwindspirit/contest/Vinny_D1.jpg">[/SIGPIC]

Let's put it this way, this is what a friend told me:

Anniversary packs (first sale) gold rise up, people bought alot of packs, PW made alot of money, huge amount of players quit the game or refused to use cash shop again.

PW entertainment: "Oh.. we've lost such a big amount of customers and we're not earning anything. I know what we should do! since the last pack sale made our players buy a huge amount of packs we should add them again to the boutique Mr. Boss!

Mr. Boss: Yes! I'm evil. *evil laugh*

Second sale: Less players due the first sale, gold really high that people don't feel like buying any, more people quitting, PW won't gain as much money as first sale.

When a Perfect Hammer is more than a Chest Of Choins it's when the Devs or whoever decides things should stop and realise that they are doing something wrong. How do you expect a lvl 50 player to buy one for the Supply Stash when 1 Gold is 600k? It's simply ridiculous. It's not like the drops you get from mobs are so awesome that you can aford anything if you go and grind a bit. I know... I know... you will say that the players decide the Gold prices, but if that is so then why not stop with the events for a few months? Then you will see the real prices and not the prices that went as high as Mount Everest cause of all these annoying weekly events. But there is no point in complaining, this game will not die, you will just drive away all the people that don't spend real cash or those who only spend occasionally, and only be left with those who spend a fortune on PWI. I know because the same thing happed in the previous MMO I was playing. If I log in now all I see is the BULKERS, yeah that's how we used to call them over there. I bet they are having fun fighting against eachother, while the rest of the players quit. Nice work PWI, if you keep this up I will have no problem in saying b:bye, just like I did before. I'll stick around for a bit longer and see how it goes though.

    1)removing posts
    2)locking threads
3)making sure players dont have a say
4)concentrating on the money rolling in

Yes yes I see it now drop rates increased by 1.5 balances out the extreme amount gold is except it doesn't particularly people suddenly become justified in selling gold higher because drop rate is higher yes it will help afford them but it will just make it worse sadly. Although that would stop all the complaining about the other items as people would get more TT and more DQ allowing them to level faster and creating a race of super engorged players who didn't again spend time on these gears pissing of some people and making others happy. With this random crowd I am sorry you cannot win whether you put these packs in or not but I have to say the overall server happiness was improving in HT with the lack of sales and gold going down charms are almost impossible to get. Gold on HT actually was starting to dip under 300k gratefully and now just as it was getting better goes back up b:surrender you need to brainstorm really something a bit um different then Cash Shop or attitudes will remain sour.

With all the threads complaining of the economy even after the packs were removed... How was readding an item that increased the price of gold a good way to improve your fans apprechiation.

As a long time player and occational CSer it feels like a slap to the face coming from a group that I thought used to care about its players CSer or not.
