Status is the soul of RPG games? I want proof. I submit to you this: I don't give a damn what status I have. Now you're making the assumption that, if I did hold status because of an item, the item becoming less rare will strip that away from me. I've already covered that: it's happened to me time and time again, and letting someone else have some glory is what the soul of RPGs is for me.

PvP= competitive game to be the best
LvL= status
Ranking= more status

All (or most) mmos are about status and being better then others.

Everything is about "being different" and better then the others. Thats why ppl complain.
Why would you lvl then? To enjoy more of the game, ofc, but being 90 or 100 is not really a big difference, ppl lvl to have power, in order to have status.

I'm not here to PvP to gain status. Status in PvP is bad. When you become known for your PvP skills, people start killing you more. I don't want that. I want to be the silent (but good!) assassin who slips up behind you with a rolling pin and a back of cheeze doodles and commencing slaying your face off, then gets the **** away before my target decides to become angry with me enough that they 1.) target me explicitly or 2.) give me notoriety and get me on some KoS lists. Status? Go to hell. I'm different enough in my own way, and I don't need your recognition or anyone else's to boost my self-esteem.

I'm feeling an overwhelming lack of sympathy for every one of you people who feel gypped because your precious mount is now available for 20 gold. I said 300k+ meaning the cheapest mold (lvl21 ones mostly) was around 300k.

Actually, free players are those who make this game have success.

Without them, cash shopper wont be able to get tons of coins by selling items from cash shop and gold.

I guess you could. But logically, why work hader than you have to? You'll have the money from NPC-ing your DQ items to get 20 gold waaaay before if you were using the DQ items for 100 oders.

Well the Chest of Coins now allows Gold buyers you to bypass the coin farmers. LOL

I do not work for status and i agree its your lvl and skill that earns you the status. however i also do beleive dq horse used to give players status especially if they wer high level and riding one. they completely stood out with their gear and stuff. and the other reason i think the dq horses used to give status was coz they wer worth alot.... just like any high lvl weapon or armor.

ive never owned a dq mount but i do have a boa and Hellhound atm. i will be taking advantage of this soon and get one for myself even though there no better then a kirin now.

oh and btw i do beleive perfect world is slowly degrading from its "perfect" status. there are no goals to aim for anymore other then getting a high lvl and i dont think they shoulda released all these events together including the boa, dq mounts, battlepack sale, jolly event, charm pack etc. i was kinda wondering if they are gonna replace the dq horses with a completely new dq mount.

lastly they should stop added item mall content temporarily and instead work on any bugs/glitches and add more content

PS: they should make the genies be able to receive exp and sp even when it is trade enabled

it did involve time to get the dq items i understand that... but most of the ppl "bought" the dq items off other players. there was no "hard work" initially in it. the only problem is the money it cost and clearly u didnt buy it to resell it. you bought it to use it

your right it involved alot of time getting those DQ items, and I had been doing DQ since I was like lvl 25....saving every DQ I got, scrimping and saving while I didnt want to sell my DQ items because I wanted my "not so special horse". It also involved a hell of alot of killing mobs, flying all over the map which consumed mass amounts of time. Now look I can click a button and get my "non special horse".

I add my voice to what I think is direspectfull for players who have spent time and energy to get some "special" feature that gold could not buy so easilly. Indeed, people can also buy them through Dragon Orders trade... but there were still only a few ppl owning one of them, including those who did actually work for them : the pride of owning one was a reward for the time involved.

Now, one can basicely say seing one of them : "wow, another rich player".... and he would have a 95% chance to be right... and the 5% other players will only be able to suffer silently.

There are a lot of way to earn as much (real) money without ruining some game features... I really disagree with this add.
