Anyways, enjoy your horses for the hard work you took to get it or sell it and work for a new mount. Honestly, 18mil isn't bad when you think about the goldmane selling to people for 65mil+ and now it's 30mil.

I don't see what the big deal is i looked 2 days ago and the dq horses were still able to be gotten through dq orders. just becuase there in cash shop doesn't mean you can't go the cheaper / harder way O_o?if there still able to be gotten ill go the hard way possibly buying some of the orders if the prices drop(hopfully)

(I'll try posting this again here, since the mods have gone lock-crazy.)

First off, none of the sales affect me in the least. I don't buy things just because they are rare, and if they depreciate, well so be it.

However, my best-friend's wife just spent most of last month farming for mats so she could get her Silver Mane.

Now, I could have just bought her one, since I have the in-game resources and she's a good friend, but that would have defeated the whole point. She wanted to EARN one HERSELF. She's still pretty much a noob, and frankly it was very impressive she pulled it off. For her, the value in the Silver Mane was in its rarity, and that made the Silver Mane something very special.

But all that just went right out the window.

There are lots of other inferior versions of Perfect World out there that quite frankly, suck. The reason they suck is simple: in a desperate effort to attract players these crummy versions of PW throw everything at you for basically nothing. But it doesn't take long to realize that when everybody has the best items/clothes/XP/mounts/etc.../etc..., none of it means anything.

What these crummy PWI wanna-bes fail to realize is that an RPG without a stable reward structure is a failed RPG.

My concern is that PWI may have just collapsed the reward structure for people like my friend's wife, for whom her entire purpose of playing for nearly a month was the goal of the Silver Mane. Frankly, I have no idea why they did it. It makes no sense.

Those that did do DQ already knew you hadn't BratFury, otherwise you would understand, why we were so upset. It doesn't take a flipping genius to know how hard a slivermane or lightning was to get.

The whole point is that doing it through DQ was expensive and hard. It doesn't make any sense to do it that way anymore. So no one in their right mind will be motivated to do DQs and the market for DQ items in Catshops will dry up.

Why? That would mean anything in the cash shops are not worth earning yourself. The horse is just a one of many additions for the future.

I think the problem is the price in the Cash Shop which I think is 30G. Prior to the introduction into the CS the ingame cost was around 75-100G. So you could have bought it but it was worth a heck of a lot more and therefore rare and harder to get.

Sure, also doesn't take a "flipping genius" to realize that at level 10 to save up something you won't achieve til lvl 70 or so isn't the brightest thing. Thats assuming you don't play 10 hours a day. I sold my dq items, and pocketed the money. Now I have millions and I will have my mount, while you... well you have your mount. And maybe millions now too...but do you see my point?

I haven't recommended DQ to a single person that started this game. It wasn't worth giving up the in game coins for at such low lvls.

They was hard to get, big deal. You guys are freaking out over something very minute. I had a black bikini top worth 4 mil before they came out with bikinis in the cs. 12 hours later it was worth 1 mil or less. I didn't cry about it, I still had the item I so loved and cherished. You still have your horse. Thats what you got it for right? So YOU would have it? Now others will have one too... wait a minute.. thats right! Others already did have it. If there is more than 5 of something on the server you can hardly call it rare.

i would totally be motivated still just keep they dq rolling a little bit or sell the orders cheaper and keep the horses in dq quest reward <.<

BratFury, that was a horse one could only get through hard work.....now they can get it threw a push of a button. Now what was thought of as precious, will now become an over populated piece of junk. It sounds to me, you refuse to understand this, because you were not willling to put the effort into the horse. Those of us that were willing to put the effort into it just got screwed.

Obviously you don't do DQs ... they aren't worth it anymore. Period.

I'm sure glad I don't have many DQ items stocked up but I feel bad for those who have and used to make a good profit from it.

In BratFury's defense, she's using reasonable arguments. Holding something as valuble because only you own it is downright lame. Nobody's going to think any less of you because you have a mount that's no longer rare, and if you care that deeply what other people think of you and your ability to do 100 DQs over the course of however long it took you, then request you get a name change to "Kelley-I-Had-Silvermane-Before-It-Was-Cool".

The only thing this does is make the prices of the Silvermane and the less popular mounts go down. The less popular mounts were already dropping on their own anyway.

However, the demand for Gold caused by this will probably keep Gold prices high.

Obviously i do otherwise i wouldn't have posted earlier i checked 2 days ago if they were there. otherwise i wouldn't have saved up 50 copper order otherwise i wasn't about to farm up to 1k in 6 types of dq items for DQ 71 to get a VIOLET LIGHTENING! SO YEA I've done DQ kk:)

"IF" its still avialable then its worth it for those who can't buy gold or want it to still be something special, such as the convo above with the guy's friends wife then they'll do it through dq. im when this freakin game ups my azz is going to be checking prices dq items ppl will be buying if there cheap. cuase they'll still look for a way it they can save from not buying gold.

OK get this:

Everyone wanted genies: PW did that.

Everyone wanted more clothing: Pw did that.

Everyone wanted more mounts: PW did that.

Everyone wanted charm packs: PW did that.

Everyone wanted dragon orb sales: PW did that.

Everyone wants wants wants. PW appeases the masses. But yet you ppl aren't happy about anything. You want, then you aren't happy with what you get. PERIOD. Its not about did I earn it or not. Its not about did you earn it or not. Its about the fact that no matter what this company does YOU aren't happy. By you I mean those complaining. This company *(from what I've seen in 9 months) has bent over backwards to do what its player base asks. Yet NO 1 is ever happy.

Its getting old. Suck it up. This is a free to play game. Be grateful for that and quit it already. I lost out on the bikini sales, duke rose. Many other things. But did you honestly not think at some point things would have to change in this game? All the high lvls got new content/low levels have to have something new. They can't give them new maps. Honestly, is this what people have reduced to?

That they would complain about FREE things giving to them? This is a FREE game. You have to spend nothing to play it. NADA!!! Not a thing. Learn to enjoy it, regardless of what is in the cash shop or what other players are doing.
