Vicious Raptor has been reduced to 15 gold, down from the 35 gold original price!
Chubbs now goes for 10 gold, as opposed to the original price of 20 gold!
Quick Sika Reindeer has also been reduced to 10 gold, down from the original price of 20 gold!
Last but not least, the Ancestral Kirin is now 15 gold, down from the original 35 gold
Great job imo. Makes mounts affordable for those of us who dont spend 50 gold on the limited edition mounts. Really makes mounts accessible to just about anybody. b:thanks

I agree it is crappy ....thats the one thing in the game they had that could set u apart and show u worked hard for either A.) earning the cash to buy it or B.) doing all the dragon quests and all the time and effort u put forth to have that mount

Uhm, does anyone else find it odd that during the time that gold prices are the highest, they decide to have a price cut on SO MANY mounts. Mounts, especially land mounts have more of an aesthetic value for players. Regardless of them being faster than flying mounts, I find myself flying everywhere. I rarely touch my panther.


Now...for example: Panther was originally 10 gold?
In game, someone would sell it if for about 900k-1.2mil.

BUT, with the inflation since 1 gold is approximately 190-210k.
The 7 gold 5 silver discount would amount to about 1.3mil-1.5mil.


SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME I AM NOT A LUNATIC. This is preposterous! Is this not a planned scam to suck more money and time out of people or what?

It would be the same thing if someone bought 20 gold and sold it in game and bought the horse from you. They might not work in game, but I guarantee you most ppl work their backsides off for the real money they spend that keeps this game afloat. Quit complaining.

I think you have one 0 missing in your calculations. Silvermanes were going for 15-20 Mil which is more like 75-100G

I understand that this is a blow to all those who worked for months gathering Dragon Orders. I myself have been slowly working towards one. However, last week someone offered to sell theirs. Their asking price was 91 gold. I'm sorry if your exclusive mount is no longer such, but I am happy that I can get a spurred horse for 37 gold instead. I'm really sorry to my friend who bought it, but hey...
Also the Silvermane and Voilet Lightening are sorta outdated. The new rare mounts are Gold Lions, Scarlet Ninetales, and the soon to be released Cloudfish! It is sad that not one of these can be aquired in-game, and that their just lottery items. However, if there is such a sale for older mounts it means the new ones will be released soon, isn't that good news?!

I agree with this. There is only so long you can capitalize on things being "rare". The longer the game goes, the less rare older things will become. 3-5 months ago there probably wasn't even any1 above lvl 90, now we have many 100+. If you bought your mount to show off, you still have it to show off. If you bought it in hopes to resell it, well... you should have done it faster. I think its rediculous anything would be so rare as to cost more than 20 million in game for a mount. Equate that to dollars, and I wouldn't pay that for nothing.

Its ok to make SALES, but its not ok to make available a supposed "non cash shop item" in the cash shop.
Having a Silermaine or some odd mounts made you have a "status" ign. By allowing it in the cash shop those ppl lost their status.
Many ppl play the game to adquire or feel important.
Doing this just killed that "sense" of status a lot of ppl had. I never saw many ppl with silver and when I did it I was "cool, that guy did work hard for his mount"... now its just "cash shop w**re" or any other rich gamer....

this is going to be such a dream come true for me- i've wanted one of these since i first saw them last year, and now it really can happen! my son and i have worked together, trying to do the DQs, but forced to sell the drops to stay afloat. he has a job, dog training, and is going to buy this for me. and he has to get up very early in the morning ,and works hard for that money, though he is only 17. so yes, this is just as valuable as the DQ discs in the game-earned in the real world.

Dude, just play the game. It's free. You don't have to pay anything, and there are ALWAYS alternates to acquire the things available that are buy-able with real money. If I were you, I'd take advantage of the sales and try to turn a profit for myself. I have, in fact, already done this, and have no regrets in doing so.

If anyone needs an in game status to feel important in life what they need is a therapist. This game is nothing. Its fun, and it is recreation. And if having a silver horse made you feel more accomplished than reaching lvl 90 you also have serious issues. Having a 100 million coin horse actually was pretty, but was silly to have spent that much money on something that did nothing but get you from point a to point b. My dual spurred panther did the same exact thing for less than 1/10th of the price.

People still WORK HARD for their mounts. Maybe not in game but out of game. Almost anyone works HARD in RL for RL money. To say that they are any less b/c of that is just not right.

Totally agree.. for those who doesnt hav time to invest in game they can invest real money to catch up with those hardcore gamers.. either way its still investing either time or money...

the 2 new mounts is just an example of giving ppl with not much time to do all that dq's a chance to acquire something that they otherwise would not b able to... tho 20 gold might be a little too cheap i think

Seems they are trying to close away the gaps that exist that let people who play free in this game from making money. Look at this :

First they reduced Mold Prices so now all the free gamers are screwed, they either buy molds from others or spend $$$ to get more coins to get them.

Second they reduce Mount Prices now so that people cant work hard for Dragon Orders for weeks together and sell those rare horses for 10 -15m anymore, its worthless now.

Whats Next ? 3* and Legendary Eqp in Cash Shop ? b:chuckle

Aside from that, how would the reduction of prices in molds in ANY way detriment anybody, except those who owned the molds before the switch and intended to sell them at higher prices? As well, what's to stop the "poor" players from still farming molds old-school? I'm not paying 145 chips and at a guess 3mill coins for a Tauren Cape; **** that, I'd rather smite good ol' FB69 and spend that much on MP charms before it drops while earning 150k xp at the same time. You go ahead and make it harder on yourself, I was doing it this way the first time around.

Point two: Yes they can. Nobody put the 20 gold mounts up and smeared "NEENER NEENER YOU CAN'T DO DQ NOW AHAHAHAHAHAHA" all over our faces. You want to get your horse the old-fasion way? Do it, and I salute you for doing so. Personally, I'm dumping $20 on its ****, and getting it the easy way, but that doesn't mean you can't DQ for it. DQ even gives you xp that the cash shop will not.

Right, so why would having a purple or silver glowing horse make any difference. Your lvl makes your rank/status in game. Not what you acquire. If you aren't riding it no one even knows or cares. However, we can all see your uber axes or awesome wands. Really.. this isn't as bad as ev1 thinks. I have always thought the mounts were too high. Essentially all they did was make the old mounts more desirable for ppl to buy and easier for those just starting the game. And the only horses worth buying, are now in the shop. As the others you buy for 2.5 mil in game you can't sell for that they are too slow.

I don't forsee gold going up that much if any. They've put these at a very affordable price.
