For those of you still unable to patch, try this:

C:\pwi\Perfect World International\element\data

Extract OB_Patch.zip, open the OB_Patch folder, copy everything and paste into your \Perfect World International\elements\ folder. Overwrite at the prompt.

    this is just common sense.... the games is out on the 19th just wait and deal with it like the rest of us....

    I downloaded this game, i got beta key...

    when i click the patch client... i get this message...."Update server connection failed. Please try another server"... Then when i click start... I get "Unable to connect"....
    Is any country IP block?

    The servers are not open yet. That means you cannot login, you cannot create a char, you cannot update the game.

    Wait for the 19...

    And yes there are IP blocks for all countries who have their own localised version of the game (excluding Europe). So if a company where you live offer a version of the game, you cannot connect here.

    The answer is in the first post of the link that you quoted. :D
    In order to activate you beta key, follow these steps:

    1. Goto the homepage or www.perfectworld.com
    2. Login using your username and password.
    3. Click on Account Info on the left side of the site, under logout.
    4. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and enter your beta key.
    5. Once your key has been activated, it should say "Perfect World International Status: Accepted" at the bottom of the page.
    6. You're done! Your account is good to go for the beta. :)

    wel............... when i up at login screen i put in my user and pass but it then says.

    LINK-worng acount or password, but its all rite so ?????

    im staying in india.. i got my account applied.. but still i cant connect to the server... any1 can help... is there any manual patching??

    The servers aren't open yet. They open in about 11 hours from now.

    but the timer clock on the web says the server has already open... lol... its august 19 btw... okay i try after 11 more hour off non stop waiting lol:D

    U're right & some things here are wrong....the countdown can't be different from country and country...is the same!!!! It's like i send a missile and i count from 10 to 0 and who is far away from me count something different?????? like from 50 to -10....:confused:
    Not only now the countdown is countup...is going on so it means if now we're less 1 day tomorrow we'll be less 2 days :p and the open day will be far and far....:confused:
    i can't connect to the server and i don't know why.....
    plz advise ppl waiting here....getting old and old

    It's way past 19th 0:00am now, and I still get the same message. It's not IP block, cause I live in Europe. And my beta key is accepted.

    or "plz don't worry, be calm and wait other 150 hours...it could be nice if someone answers to us........and don't leave us here like idiots!!!

    Same here pal -.-'' If u look at the launcher ull see it clearly stays 19 august and the time.. When ill log into the game it says that i have to w8 and theres a 40sec timeout... When u look at he servers all u see is The name and the other is marked with ''--'' an example:
    Ping
    Lost City pvp -- And son on...
