Well for 1 thing, they can not only put bans for (varying lengths of times) on the offenders accounts, but the offenders can also return (hopefully) to find all their characters that they switched too (to glitch the code with) Permanently Banned forever, thus leaving them with only characters they didn't glitch with (Now That would be FUNNY b:laugh)

Activate the code again i'm 100% sure most people will gladly abuse the glitch and take a small vacation from PWI.

10. User Conduct
You must observe these Terms, all Rules of Conduct, all applicable laws and all basic rules of etiquette and common courtesy when using the Website and the Service. Any conduct that violates the law in an offline, real world community is also a violation of these terms. PWE will not tolerate any illegal or offensive conduct.

(g) Collect, store, post or otherwise disseminate any personal data about other users;
(h) Impede or disrupt the Service or the normal flow of game play or dialogue in the game or in Interactive Areas on the Site or use vulgar language, abusiveness, use of excessive shouting (ALL CAPS) "spamming" or any other disruptive or detrimental methods in an attempt to disturb other users or PWE employees;
(i) Engage in, encourage, or promote any illegal activity, or any activity that violates these Terms or the Rules of Conduct;
(j) Engage in any actions that defraud or attempt to defraud, scam or cheat others out of any items that have been earned through authorized game play;
(k) Cheat or utilize unauthorized exploits in connection with the Games or the Service;
(l) Using or exploiting any bugs, errors, or design flaws to obtain unauthorized access to the Service or to gain an unfair advantage over other players,
(m) trade, sell, auction or otherwise transfer any virtual items or goods of any nature outside the game; and/or
(n) Take any action that disrupts the Service or that negatively affects or may prohibit other users from enjoying the Website, the Games or any other aspect of the Service.
PWE may take any actions and impose any penalties we deem necessary to discourage and punish any violation of these terms or any other illegal or inappropriate conduct, all without prior notice or warning. The determination as to whether a violation has occurred and who is responsible for such act is solely within PWE's discretion, and is based on what we deem best for the community and the Website. By using the Website, you agree you will be bound by PWE's determination as to whether a violation has occurred and any penalty we choose to implement.

SO WHAT I PAYED MUCH MONEY IN THIS GAME TOO, didnt abused code and i dont wanna ****** rollback cose i made money in this 2 days and gearz, im customer too..who payed more hundreds of dollars in this game!!! the ppl who want rollback, and us who dont wanna rollback paying money in game, so now what-both sides cant be satisfied, they did a good thing buy saying that they will punish abusers, what else do u wanna...i didnt losed hudreds of dolars to be punished cose u cant handle someone get free stuffs0

No it's not what a majority wanted. It's what you and your friends wanted. About 1/2 of the players wanted it. About another 1/2 of the players didn't want it, and the rest didn't care. Punishing those, if they actually do it, who abused the code is good enough for me.0 -

We've disabled the code while we investigate the situation of code abuse.

Here is what I was able to get:
- We will not be rolling back the servers.
- A highly focused and targeted Archosaur-specific compensation effort will be enacted.
- We will be punishing legitimate abusers of the compensation code who received far more than is possible from redemption page lag. We will be doing so in a detailed, focused manner which will make progress on punishments slower but more precise. So do not worry if you are one who got more orbs unintentionally. We do not want to penalize those who did not intend abuse of the system.
Regarding the level of abuse, from the data in front of us, it was not quite as widespread as many believe. It was mostly a few dozen or so who abused the code from means other than lag/timeouts. The perception of it being widespread is due to the unintentional in-game message spam distorting the situation, and nonfactual boasts in the forums or worldchat.
This is the reason why there will not be a rollback.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

We're all just supposed to sit here and MAGICALLY assume some terrible punishment for the anonymous people that exploited this when the last punishment PWI dealt out was so pathetic? If PWI responds to people hitting max level with not even a slap on the wrist, but rather a finger wave and a "tsk tsk tsk," we're supposed to all hear "they'll be punished" and assume "OMG I BET PWI ASSASSINATED THEIR MOTHERS!!"

Dude, they could be permanently restricting these characters from refining to +11 or +12 ever again, but if we don't KNOW about it, then we exploit future glitches all the same. And when the last instance of a punishment was pathetic and we're left to fill-in-the-blanks on what this punishment is, then of COURSE we assume it's something pathetic.
Hell, last punishment took like half a year before they even issued it, and in the GM's very statement he said "this'll take a while." It honestly makes me question if there's truly any -legit- intention to punish these people. I'm not joking here: from their perspective that's more work, and when they're not announcing the punishments to the people, the punishments don't even incentivise the community not to use exploits in the future. So why bother? Their work would be for nothing. I know I wouldn't, so yes, I legit question if there's any legit intent to do anything. That's how bad their reputation is: when I'm left to fill in the blanks, I actually doubt they're even dishing out a punishment PERIOD.
It's absolutely ****ing MIND-BOGGLING how poorly PWI handled this.I

On one hand i know we realy should wait and see how they punish abusers but the statement they made reminds of some old and we saw what they did was a facepalm to all honest players.
(a few dozen? so you see glitching 3 to 5 tickets as normal and not worth to punish at all?)
Timed bans even 1 to 3 months is a joke if you have good alt accounts compared to what some got (even more so if you done it for every alt account cause your main is +12 already).
Maybe they take a few +10, +11,+12 some got on items away, event gold (what when they use it right now) and charms back cause of the glitch but thats all?
No permanent bans for that they even broke the rules and cheated in the first case?
Realy when that is a punishment for cheating and you play it so down i can understand that the same persons and more will do it again.
Those players who not where on at the 4 hours of the glitch get nothing at all?0 -

Redeem page back up. But the code has been expired. I hope there is a new code to allow me to get my 24 10* soon. I want to have parity with everyone else on the server. Is fairness too much to ask?0 -
