Geno I know you said they were "phasing out" the DQ system however it seems more like the ripped it beating heart from our chests. The web page is not updating - personally I am not offloading the significant amount of DQ points I have farmed waiting for a DQ x2 when I have no guarantee that I will actually get the points.
If china have decided to remove OUR DQ system because THEY have a botting problem in China - well that bites actually, but atleast they could have the courtesy to notify us so that we can offload them.
Our community has managed to control the botting problem on the East & West Coast servers, and whilst yes we have a few it is definitely not an epidemic on our servers, and yet we are being punished for a China issue. Wow that's really gonna teach those botters in China.
@ PWE where's this magic "blog" that is coming out? how long does it take to say "we've decided to start removing parts of this game you all use and rely on, we're sure you won't miss it"[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Which is exactly the reason why I am not willing to spend any more money on this game. Why support a company that doesnt support their customers? Thank you, but no, thank you.0

It wouldn't surprise me if they don't post it until the next maintenance f:scared
Who knows, maybe they are replacing it with something else, maybe not... Let's be honest though, the game to website features (DQ, core, rankings) all work like **** or barely... Though since certain other not to be named hosts of PWI can implement features that do the same thing (rankings) it can't be -that- hard?
If they replace it i'm guessing it will be similair to that of the core achievement point stuff, thus needing arc... which would be crappySoon™

Actually they will loose money because you will find at one time or another most people will have or are planning to spend real money on the game. Just because we are jumping up and down about a something free in the game doesn't mean we haven't spend real money on it. Everyone likes to get free stuff, using the DQ rewards you got in game coin and useful items to boot. If and thats a big if atm, I keep playing, it will be f2p for me from now on, I will not hand over any more money. I wont have the r999 +12 best sharded stuff but damned if I will spend anymore on a game that doesn't respect and look after its customers. I know noone will miss me if I go, I wont even make a ripple, neither will anyone else who leaves because of this.
If a every day business like a grocery store, treated you like PWI has then you wouldn't go back. You would tell your friends not to go there as the service is horrible.0 -

Yes the page is still working...for now..go read the patch news. Most people's pages aren't updating tho. The uproar is about 'phasing out' of the DQ rewards page and no one advising us of the fact and the fact that the gms have been totally silent despite geno saying that a blog entry would be posted soon nearly 2 days ago.0 -

I thought farming, whether it be for Twilight Temple materials or killing massive loads of spiders for DQ drops, was an integral part of this game. Many have 'funded' this "free to play" game with these farming features, including myself! (limited to a wheelchair and with little income, farming in-game is one of my only options for making coin). Now you say you are thinking of REMOVING this integral, important and useful portion of OUR game, why? I bet there is a financial undercause somewhere. I will say this as a warning; Many, Many players left after the last expansion because you gave NO THOUGHT to how these changes would affect players. Again, we see you giving NO THOUGHT to the players, well, hell, there are 1000's of "ftp" mmo's out there, do you REALLY want us to go start looking around?
Trust me, I have played a large proportion of the available online games, you have a winner with PWI.

Nah, brains have little to do with this game. It's gear over skill and either cash shopping or 24/7 merching. It was made increasingly hard to play w/o cash shopping over the past years.0 -

I personally unloaded hundreds upon HUNDREDS of dq 3 days ago, as I too was waiting for a 2x dq points event that will never come.
My DQ page -did- update and I received all of the dq points I was entitled to.
So, fear not fellow hoarders, dump'em whenever you're ready.0 -

just out of curiosity , am i the only one who has incorrect DQ points? cuz ive been waiting for mine to get updated, and finally after 6 days, it updated but i only had like 100 points added on it b:sad ive been vendoring before and after the update and im sure ive vendored thousands of DQs already

same, updated today for last 12 hours or so, but those days when this came to light whne i npcd a ton ...no points from those. so sent a ticket
EDIT: finally those dq points vendored appeared, funny though theyre not in the items vendored log0 -

and this. just to bring it home how out of touch the GMs are with the PWI community. they have no idea that 2x means nothing without DQ points. people who were intent on leveling used the frost glitch(without any punishment!) HH mats are worth NOTHING. people have stacks of gold mats in shops that they farmed a year ago on 2x. if DQ rewards are gone, what will people do? NWs took away any chance at Nirvana being a useful instance. just once i would like for GMs to really pay attention to their community. you all have no clue about the players of PWI.0 -

I wonder if the powers that be realize that if they keep alienating players then even the ones who have been here for years are going to go elsewhere? I spend a little money here and there on stuff, was even going to get gold this weekend, until I saw this. Why should I line your pockets further when myself and everyone else keeps getting crapped on? I'd rather take my money elsewhere. Like Star Wars: The Old Republic. This has to be the best description I have seen of their method for informing players ever. This so spot on and proven by this latest debacle. Give a reason PWE, stem the tide we as a community will be more forthcoming of our forgiveness and tolerance when we know why this happened. It is apparent we don't want it to go so put it back and step away and we can talk this out, until you can do that you should explane why this happened at all. BTW don't deny you made a boo boo by not telling us just explane and move forward.0 -
this bull 5h1t, plain and simple, dq points allow me to by random dyes so that when i find dirt cheap fashion i can dye it black and make a nice bit of coin.....just another way so pwi can make this game a pay 2 play.0

Dq Items were 4 Dragon Quest,...No 1 did them anymore after 30 or 40, and they've always been worth coin until dq rewards. Now they are worth 1 coin and stuff

its simply as u can see are more than 10.000 ppl not longer willing to be with this non farmable game which is now PAY2PLAY.
