    May I ask what the hell qualifies as "no point whatsoever?"

    To quote the thing itself:

    If you would take a single look at Harshlands subforum, you'd see I'm one of the more outspoken members of Harshlands. I'm just speaking out of this because I happen to know three people in particular who'll tell me on vent that they liked what I wrote, then I'll find them randomly giving me the points in another thread because since when does it matter? You can award it in -ANY- thread and the bot will find it.



    I'm just saying, this system holds no concrete purpose whatsoever. The thread itself admits that in the beginning post by saying you can show gratitude for "basically whatever" in regards to post quality. I promise you I post an opinion not many others voice within Harshlands, I promise you I crack jokes and I promise you I don't have points "just cause."


    I'm just saying, I seem to remember several random users having more than 100 points, and suddenly the only people above 100 are mods themselves or it's the person who -MADE- the damned bot. And now I've effectively been disqualified from it entirely for not only reaching 2nd, but for being able to get my points back within 24 hours BECAUSE people support me.
    But when everyone who has decent points is taken off the list "because no good reason (when the list itself lacks a specific purpose)" then it degrades the list to little more than a giant circle jerk for the mods and their friends.

    My question now is, what's the purpose of this?
