So you'll be doomed either way at some point.
If they disabled the system from forcing you back to base, and instead made it back to original land you came from then we would have less issues.
I don't know what issues you have, but when I go to a land that is full, it just sends me back to the land that i was at before. But, I usually stop at one of my nation's territories that borders the battlegrounds before choosing which one I want to enter. Last territory wars, I haven't been sent back unless I was alive till the battle was lost or I went back to base on purpose. Even when I died more than 5 times, I was sent back to the territory right next to that land that I came from, not base.0 -

1. Edited line.
2. There must be a condition under which the system sends you back to base for some reason rather then land or it must be a glitch. My squad members have been sent back to base as well often. If it is a glitch then I'm wrong on the system doing this according to it's programming, and has to be fixed soon if treated as a glitch.
Can anyone else confirm on being sent back to base when trying to travel to a land and it being full?0 -

yeah nation wars. Most people just click on a territory and let the system autopath them there. I don't do that. I autopath to the untouched lands that borders the engaged lands. This lets me chose which lands I want to enter depending on the changing conditions of those lands. The land that I stopped at is where I'm sent back.0 -
I found that I can keep the pointer over the land that I am heading to and it will show me how many folks are in that battle area and it seems to update continuously. If it fills up before I get there, I click on the friendly land I'm on to stop to avoid gettind sent back to the base. If I need to go back to my base to get a shorter run to the other side of my Nation's area, I hit M & the Return to Base bar in the upper right section there to go back to base quickly.
This may or not help you solve one little issue at this time. Have fun.

Pretty much this - you will get sent back to base if you just head to a battle and when you turn up it is full. However if you think they battle may fill up select the friendly land before it with no battle going on, stand there for a second then attempt to cross to the battle. This seems to work in most cases and if the battle ends up being full you are only sent back 1 spot to the land before it.0 -
Last Sunday, I was sent back to base after attempting to attack a land adjacent to the one I had just conquered. While I was moving to the new land, a 3rd nation had initiated combat with the territory I had been attempting to attack making my attempt invalid. I was not sent back to the territory I was at previously, I was sent to base.0

This is because the land you just conquered will now be in the 3 min cool-down period where no one can attack/move into it. Therefore the game may have attempted to kick you back to where you came from but as it is now in this cool-down state you get sent back to base.
EDIT: this may explain why most people get sent back to base. Usually they are just coming from a battle that has been won/lost and is now in the cool-down state. If they attack a land straight from this point and enter a land that is full or being attacked by another nation they will be sent to where they came from, but as this land can not have people enter it for the period of cool-down they are instead sent to base.0 -

If your nation has won the land, u can move into the land regardless of the 3 min timer, it's just the other 3 nations cannot attack it.0 -
there are multiple scenarios where you can be sent back to base....usually its about the state of the land u last left.....if your cut out from base lands and u lose ull be sent back to base....if your not cut back but the last land is either ocupied, in a battle, has a 3 mins timer u will be sent back to base...
for example if u go directly to A from C (random letters not based on map)....if C gets in a fight while youre travelling and A gets full ull be sent back to base
if u go from C to A and u have B2 between them...then it doesnt matter what happenes to C if B2 gets a fights status while trying to get to C ull be sent back to base
if u go from C to A and u have B2 between them...u enter C but u lose the land...and in the meantime B2 is in a fight or the 3 mins timer.....ull be sent back to base
if uve won C and go directly to A...enter the fight in A....but in the meantime C gets cut off from the lands of base...if u lose A u wont be base sent back to C....even if C didnt get in a fight
what i dont remember is what happenes : "if u go from C to A and u have B2 between them...then it doesnt matter what happenes to C if B2 gets a fights status while trying to get to C ull be sent back to base" ....and B2 has free slot for you in defense...i mean does it automaticly brings u into the battle or same "back to base" no matter what
at least thats what ive noticed...some confirmation maybe? b:surrender0 -
The worst thing about NW is trying to get your whole squad into the same battle. I have done all NW's since the add-on and been in squad everytime and still have never gotten more then 3 of my squad members into the same battle because it fills up way to fast with pieces of other squads. Would be nice if squad leader picks a territory's and it warps the whole squad to that territory, other wise whats the point of having a squad?
Next thing that bugs the **** outta lots of people is when your trying to type in chat to your squad members and the game keeps interrupting you when your typing. Its hard enough already to orchestrate a battle tactic, so please fix this to make communication a little easier for us all.
Next, why your token prize also depends on how well your nation does is far past me, i cannot understand why this would matter much to how many tokens you get. Each week in NW I score VERY high with personal credits for my hard work but in the end get beat down with my token prize because my nation never comes in first place, even tho i rock the hell outta NW I still have to count on a bunch of numb nuts to pull their own weight? There's really no way to talk to your whole nation in order to orchestrate any type of battle plans other then world chat and most people don't even look at that while busy.
And last but not least...who taught PWI how to play capture the flag? I know it wasn't me because I know in "Capture the Flag" when someone carry's the flag and is killed the flag is dropped and the person who earned the right to have the flag gets to pick it up and go their marry old way with it. The flag should not reset, it should simply be dropped @ the current spot of flag carriers death so the person(s) who killed the carrier get the flag. But if the flag is not picked up with-in lets say 10-20 seconds then it should reset., but not reset upon death. I've personally have never played capture the flag in the manner NW has it being played.
But I guess I'll wrap this up saying I feel that some more thought needs to be put into NW rather then just throwing it together as if it's in the "Beta Stage" or sumtin.
Other then that i love the concept of NW, just some things need to be changed/fixed.
Thx,
CoMa

Didn't I see a Nation Chat button? Just like Faction Chat and Squad Chat, etc. Or was I dreaming?0 -

I think thats cause either your squad suck many many balls or that you guys are trying for easy land. I seen a whole squad of 10 stay together for over one hour... and only losing 2 members in the second half. Although a 3rd member may have been lost toward the final minutes of the war.1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.
