FC Glitch Update

Ive really enjoy playing this game but lately as many and many "QQ"s have said the game is now unbalanced and its simple. Assassins came out during Raging Tide and there was a big uproar after finding out they can solo just about anything with their APS but wasn't that big of a deal until this Ranked Gear {insert foul word('s)} came into affect and cash shopper became rich and the poor are still poor just like the real world. Yes i do use my "OWN" money that "I" work for to get something that's on sale like a flyer or couple packs. Ever since the rep sale/ranked mats came, now u have to show your weapon to get into runs and (sorry for caps but some cant read unless its pointed out) YES I KNOW I CAN FORM ONE IF I WANTED TO. But then again why would any go with an under geared person or not fast enough to do the instance. If your friend or friend of a friend and was nice ya the can run you thru it or if you had loads of coin you can pay someone do it. Point is simple the ranked gear added insult to injury to this game, like why have the warsoul weapons when the ranked gear back be soo easy to get and "CAN" be better by re'rolling stats and upgrading it. All in all this is the only game i've found that has the right build for a wizzard and great graphics for a low pc usage. I have recruit many people to play this game but now n days they are going back to their own games and frankly doesn't seem bad idea since i have not seen anyone from high up say anything to show that they care much less read what we the "PEOPLE" want something done or "Assit" in correcting the game in a way have people come back and have "FUN", ya scary word to use "FUN" cause its no fun to go thru half fasting everything (TO MOST,not saying everyone). I know the MODs and the GMs here are trying and have to put up with alot of nonsense but was it like this before raging tide and ranked gear? Ask yourself that. PWI is the mediocre game I was referring to. The fact that you think it's unique sort of proves you have little or no experience with other MMORPGs. I can't think of any game that has truly tried to break the mold except Sraw Dliug 2. PWI is far from perfect or unique.

1) Create a character.
2) Buy a pretty dress from the cash shop.
3) Take a quest.
4) Buy experience aids from the cash shop.
5) Kill several mobs for step 3.
6) Buy another pretty dress from the cash shop.
7) Repeat 3-6 until you reach the level cap.

E-humping the GMs? WTF? I see I'm not the only veno who sets little personal fires in the forums. You can't hold a candle to me. I have an entire forum mob angry at me for expressing my opinions.

If they said glitching is prohibited and they will punish those who were glitching and at the end they did nothing. So f... up game like that.

Well, in a way you are, but you are working on a voluntary basis without remuneration.

You are doing the job that should be done by a paid employee if PWE was not so cheap as to not wanting to hire someone to moderate their forums.

Or instead of being negative about it, you could say that they are trying to relate to the player-base by having player-moderators. Lots of other games have player-moderators on their forums, as well as even in-game. However, this doesn't mean that we can't/don't have a opinion about how the company is doing. We all have said our fair share of comments that the company isn't doing their jobs at times, putting a general label on any green-avatared peoples that they "work for the company" is just unfair to us because we do care about the community so much.

Upon receiving tickets from many of the banned accounts and investigating further, our GM's have decided that our tracking methods for recognizing the "worst offenders" were likely inaccurate. Whether these banned folks truly glitched more than anybody else is a statement that we do not feel comfortable supporting any longer, so we've decided to err on the side of caution and release all of these characters from their temp bans.

The truth of the matter is that our tracking tools for recognizing glitchers have been limited from the start, and this problem, compounded with the fact that it took four months to modify the FC boss, meant that we could not effectively enforce the rule in this situation.

To the players who refused to exploit the glitch, we're sorry that we cannot deliver the justice that you were waiting for, but we can promise that we will work to improve all facets of community, engineering, and customer service to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again.

Why Don't we look for another way to punish those . Like take off them 2 lvls . Anyone who made lvl 104 or 105 from Goons .

I suggest a title that sounds something like "The Cheating Scumbags".
Possibly with something above their head ingame also, like the Mori orders.

first off no mod whatsoever around here in this comunity should work here for free dealing with me alone is enough to cause them a migraine and pwe should support there asprin habbits secondly the reason shet is so out of whack around here is lack of action on pwes part forum mods are completely not needed in this equation there help is off little use here we need actual employees of pwi to fix this not mods so ill ask politely and maybe ill be heard . moderators please leave theese posts alone you have absolutly no buisness here whatsoever and are not in the least bit helpful if you absolutly need to feel like your helping get someone who can fix this in here and then have them do so otherwise be gone

I agree, I know so many people that are leaving for at least one of the two highly anticipated games being released soon. I myself am going too; and just like you will continue to roll through these forums every now and then just to see how bad they're doing over here.

So, how much longer do you think it will be until they shut down all PW servers for good? I will guess, 6-12 months after the release date of these two competitors, about enough time for them to realize their game is indeed dead...

ROTFL! Not even. I will be totally honest with you though, I lost interest in this game not long after the Tideborn expansion because of how imbalanced the skill sets became between the classes. What drove the nail in my coffin was when the hyper stones were released along with end-game gear available by proxy from the cash shop. Plus Frost was changed from a mat farming instance to an exp instance. All this hyper leveling and quick access to end game status basically destroyed the spirit of the game. It seems that almost 90% or more of the game isn't even played anymore. Another thread is even making this point. Go to any 10x, 20x, 40x,~, 70x quest areas and see hardly anyone there.

I have come and gone from the game 4 times now spending 6 weeks to 8 months away each time. I've been using the game more as an online social medium more than a game because my char is a 1 shot wonder against the heavy cashshoppers. My money is going into my house and not some online entertainment venue at this time.

But I like PW, even more so in its old but not forgotten glory days before the Tideborn so I took an unusual liberty to take a crash course in setting up databases and servers in Linux and actually setup and ran my very own personal little Perfect World - Age of Spirits server and on a virtual machine on my laptop. Mostly just to reminisce.~ NOBODY ASK ME EITHER IN THIS FORUM OR BY PM HOW TO DO THAT. I WILL IGNORE EVERY POST OR REQUEST REGARDING THAT and get angry if you try. I only had it for 3 days and deleted it.~

So, there you have it. One bit of advice for you though, lose the grudges. Whether you stay or move on it's just not worth living with such bad feelings that cause grief and anger. It's just a game.

You shouldn't worry about it. If you have fun playing the game then just play it and ignore th rhetoric. If you're upset and disillusioned about the direction the game has gone then don't waste time on something that's going to cause you a lot of unessessary emotional turmoil and anxiety that would outweigh any personal enjoyment. Find something better. If you are worried because overwhelming negative hysteria about the game in he forums with all the dire predictions of this game's demise then understand that only a very minority of the game's playerbase actually posts on the forums and when some do most of the time it's just one or a few disgruntled players ranting or QQ AND the messages, opinions, etc. on the forums are not necessarily representative of the entire playerbase.

Play the game and have fun! If not fun then what's the purpose of playing it?
