I'm just going to chime in.
I think some are quite misunderstood. What the OP is requesting is not a list of persons A through Z who glitched goons and leveled and what their punishments are. What he is asking is that:
Okay, since PWI said that they are taking action, can the playerbase know if SAID ACTION HAS BEEN ENFORCED and WHAT IS THIS ACTION. Completely different matter.
Obviously they are not going to release a namelist, and I don't think OP is so stupid to ask for something like that. He simply wants to know whether action has been taking and what exactly was said action.

I stopped reading about half way through the forum post's.
The fact is the GM's dont care, mods included, and whoever else represents this company besides the player base. They're past the point of caring.
One of my toon's has been here since beta. then next since January of '09, and so an and so forth accross 5 servers. Since then I've seem GM's choose favorites and do everything from charge squads for the privilege of having there friends in squad, to turning a blind eye to .ini edits, and letting such toon's carry them around while spawning multiple WB, or 5 lame dragons with 5Mil HP for whole server to kill to cloud the fact that they cant respond to a ticket accurately or in a timely matter, or show up on server to represent this company in a positive light.
Will anyone be banned? No.
This has already been answered in multiple post's. It's not cost effective. People that glitched obviously paid a good amount to do so. Have any of you ever killed 30 goon's at once? Not with your farmed gear with few exceptions.
Will Frankie respond to this post with anything relevant? No.
He already has somewhere lost in forum Pages long forgotten. It's alot of **** except that he states specifically that they've spent enough money in game that PWI blames itself to not ban them for the glitch. look it up, it's there. Someone will link soon
My point is, although i love reading post from all of you here on the forums, including you especially Tremble, while i remain silent, nothings going to come of this. it's really a waste of your valuable words towards something that will not be changed or officially addressed besides maybe Shelly. Maybe they have a script to post here or another update with the dirty 4 letter word "SOON" to be included, but no Bans, no way for anyone else to catch up in same time period, nothing.
Maybe I'm wrong. maybe ill log on tomorrow and see an answer to this nagging question. Maybe when i come on tomorrow, gold price's will have dropped to 25k (yes, they were once there and actually lower on all server's)
MAYBE when i drop from the air on auto path, i wont rubber band repeatedly till i choose to fly then drop again in a new position in hopes i can land and move.

Oh fml and the idiots of these days. I blame the media but that wont really help me with this discussion. To start cleaning the mess resulting from poor education where people dont think for themselves:
1. I could call my *** rosebud but sadly it`s not that in reality. Google Goebbels and propaganda, you should find some decent information regarding propaganda with that search.
2. You mix up dictatorship or oligarchy with Communism. Or one party election system with it, etc. I may be mistaken but imo Marx never supported one party system - Or he may have, I was more focused on the ideals behind communism to remember which actions he suggested to be taken in order to achieve it.
3. Communism has actually never been done as pure communism. Oh there has been communist nations to certain extent but there has always been human greed involved, which is to be expected. But as far as ideal go, few rich ruling over others is pretty much why Communism was even thought of, to oppose that injustice. I have always thought Communism as an beautiful ideal of economical equality but Ive always also found it way too naive for reality.
4. Communism has nothing to do with China supporting Syria`s government. I would call China mostly capitalist country with oligarchy ruling system and it would make sense for them to support other oligarchies or dictatorships so their own citizens wouldnt rise against them after seeing example.
5. I question why I even bother replying to you as you are completely clueless what Communism even stands for.

It's really not communism. They can call themselves communists all they want, it's not communism. I implore you to look up the definition of communism, and investigate (not read in a history book or opinion column) what goes on China.
You could take my word for it as I deal with them every day [night] on a business level (weekends too whether I like it or not), but I really suggest self education. Mostly a lot of people - especially the news, politicians - have the wrong definition of communism. Sociologists have a few theories on mainstream & socio-communism in regards to politics that is interesting, though. China does not operate like a Socialist or Communist country/state/community as a whole at all. It's closer to dictator lead capitalism with socialist ideas thrust into it. Being someone that doesn't hyper, when I do run FF I prefer a full run to get the shards and reward box at the end. But you can count that out now, along with any chance to get FF quests done.

Okay, why on earth would you not hyper? Its cheap as hell and a huge difference in exp. Is this some sorta protest?

Back to the topic, instead of blindly (and stupidly) blaming the government of whatever country the gaming company's from....
I agree with the first statement, and THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is why there are still topics about this subject.

PEOPLE WHO USED THE GLITCH---CHEATED.
They abused a bug in the game: even AFTER it was called a bug, and they were told to NOT use it, they used it anyway. No matter what kind of color you paint a cow, it is still a cow, and no matter what kind of cheating you want to call it--
It was still cheating.
I can name people who have used this glitch in Harshlands right now. I know a good 30 or so people who have for sure, and I'm positive I could point out a few more EG's who magically shot up to 102 before my TWO YEAR OLD Psychic. (In a matter of a few WEEKS, mind you, they hit 102. Like they just went around doing their quests? I *really* don't think so.) There are even some from a faction I know who I have SEEN in GC, asking for people to glitch goons with them. I've been in squads that have suggested it! Every time they agreed to go and glitch goons?
I left squad.
I left the squad because it was against the rules, to abuse a bug.
But now, I'm punished...because I did the right thing? Hell, MY Psychic could be 105! My Psychic could have been one of the first 105's in Harshlands, if *I* had cheated too!
But I didn't. But I'm happy at 100, even if I do get my **** handed by every single R9 that moves on the server. I didn't cheat. My conscious is clear on that much.
I would still call the people who have cheated whom I know, out and have them reset for cheating. It doesn't matter if the rich guy cheated, or the poor guy cheated. It's CHEATING--it's STILL WRONG.
People either need to be banned, or levels need to be reset. Either way, letting cheaters get away with **** like this is wrong. Period.They made fun of me because I wasn't a R8 Psychic...and then came third cast. It's not funny anymore.

Getting your **** handed to you by "every r9" has less to do with their level and more to do with the fact that they are R9 and you are not.
On a personal level, as you can see, or could see if forum avatars worked, my Psychic is lvl 102. Since 102 I have spent exactly 0 effort in leveling it past 102. If I had actively tried to level, without cheating, I would probably be maybe 104. Why didn't I goon to 105? Because I'm a lazy lazy laaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy player, not out of some form of protest. Gooning to 105 took a lot of time and effort and money for those who did it. It's not like they simply went "lets glitch!" and were suddenly 105. It took most of them a good squad, hours and hours and hours in FC, and lots of repair cost.
So could you have glitched to 105 if you wanted to? Sure. But it would not have been as easy as you are implying. Yes, those who did it are cheaters. But if you're not actively trying to level anyways, I don't see how it applies to you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Facts are I know some people who abused it recieved temp bans (or say they have, why they would claim to have been baned falsely is beyond me) and some who abused it didn't
But it has always been my understanding the punishments given out are not discused with anyone but those they were dealt to, i.e. the rule of no discussing bans on the forum
I think the people making these threads will only be happy when they see a list of names of people banned, which is never going to happen.
Grow up, move on, worry about your own play then maybe you'll realize it's just a game and have fun again folks.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
