This is what's going to keep happening when 90% of the good players on the server all join the same guild. We've been over this three times with QQme, Zulu and now Catalyst. You can't keep on doing the same thing for two years and expect something different to happen.

The conclusion of this thread is Valalala and Afterlife should merge into Afterlala, and Wytche, Bludd, and Riga should buy all their members r9. Then they can attack Cata and face the fearless 20 that bother showing up.

**** PWI, I'm going back to R.unescape. Cutting down trees there gives more of a challenge than this server does.

It's not even people being pussehs, it's the fact that Omerta-Deicide-Mayhem can have fun 3 hour wars with each other, but stacking you, they'd either get facerolled or get a no-show crystal sprint. Of course they choose the fun option.
It's the fact that Crimson and Kylin are still producing fun hour and a half wars with each other every so often. Against you, it's unsure how much fun it would be and might end up being a wasted bet. Or in the case that one of those two actually SUCCEEDED in fighting you, then they've unintentionally riled you up and created a stack for themselves, ruining the fun of TW for them in the future. Don't try and tell me you wouldn't bid on Kylin or Crimson if they proved they could fight you: I'm not even saying it'd be a "grrrr they insulted our e-peen" reaction, I'm saying it'd be a "hell yeah, fun TW wars if we bid them" reaction.

The simple fact that Omerta-Deicide-Mayhem are leaving Kylin alone supports my statement.

No one's gonna bid on you guys because it's not any fun (at least not yet), regardless of if they win or lose. If you truly want a guild to yell at, yell at Valhalla and Afterlife. They blatantly ran from you even when there was no excuse NOT to stack you.

But I have to admit, I do find it funny you want to sit in the champion guild and yet you want fun TWs. That's wanting to have your cake and eat it too. If you're really so desperate for fun TWs, split your guild down the center and fight each other for a bit. Or if it's just you, go sign up with Crimson or someone.


The entire issue is simply a matter of fun vs. ambition. Catalyst is ambitious, that's why they sit on their pile of money and stay together despite the disappointing TW record. Every other guild at this moment (with a few exceptions) is just after fun, so they bid on the guild that best matches their own strength. Just decide which is more important for you and if it's the former, then maybe you should look for a new guild. Any idiot could tell you that a guild that spends most of it's time playing A DIFFERENT GAME probably isn't the most fun guild to be in.

i joined catalyst as 8th member and we where like 40 people back then. you hardly see me say something positive on someones application, not because i dont like them but because i want them to join another guild so they can TW against us.

we split down our guild before (you know this) now afterlife and catalyst. u want us to do it again? so all of valhalla's OP people could handle a total of 25% of what zulu used to be?

do me a favour, gank us and make us lose TW so all those bandwagon members will leave like they always do.

I'm saying you're asking others to do something about your boring predicament when the reality is that there's no motivation for them to help you at all (they'd bore themselves by helping you find fun), whereas you yourself are more than capable of improving your predicament in more ways than one.

Switch guilds, talk to Catalyst about doing something to spice up the guild, charm **** Afterlife in their base, what do I care? My point is simply that you're in for disappointment if you expect people to stack Catalyst until all other wars are out of the way. People are having fun with their current match-ups and the prospect of attacking Catalyst doesn't seem fun no matter how you look at it.

There is a perverse feeling of Expectation which exists within the harshlands faction and this feeling comes in various forms
1. It exists in the Catalyst members who are expecting some sort of redemption from their boring TWs
2. It exists in the members of other factions who are expecting Catalyst to roll over them at some point.
In regards to the 2nd feeling of Expectation, this is easily, at least for the moment, put off, by no other factions paying attention to the grandiose posturing of some of the members of Catalyst (NB: for the most part, besides a small number, Catalyst seems to keep to themselves). These members of Catalyst oil up their muscles tan themselves and put on their best make-up only to find themselves in an International Chess-tournament (Sure it is boring for Catalyst, but its participants are having fun) where no one really cares what they are wearing or how strong they are.


Now lets say this Muscled up brute is also an expert chess player. The members of the Chess-tournament know that they will eventually have to face this person in a game, but they are content to put it off for as long as possible. Because they know that if they want to have an enjoyable game, you wont attack the strongest person, but youll attack a person who is equal to you in strength.
So Catalyst sits on the side-lines, slowing gobbling up those players who move to close to them, or players who do not have a seat to take up a new game. While there is an expectation there that Catalyst will eventually take the map, not one of the other factions on the map really cares, they expect it to happen, but they are content for the moment to play amongst them and have fun. Hence, for the moment Catalyst is a non-entity within TW. The result will be the same.
And I think it will continue to be the same for a long while, cause even after Insanity or Valhalla or Crimson or Kylin gets wiped off the map. There is still no incentive for factions to attack, or even stack on Catalyst. If Curso says is right and only 20 members are signing up for TW each week, what incentive does 3 factions of moderate strength have to stacking on you? There is the chance that they may face a crystal sprint, or a enemy who is not up to the task of defending due to lack of sign-ups then those factions or more than likely a faction with OP personnel who overruns them in 7mins, who had expected a good TW, maybe 1hr-2hrs fight, will face the reality that there is no fun to be had in facing such an enemy.
It may be that when there are only two guilds left on the map, then you will see some Stacks, but until that change the ball is in your court. If you want to change the state-of-play it isnt up to those who are enjoying themselves, who are having fun. It is up to those who arnt having fun to say What can we do to change this situation? Insulting other factions just shows the level of your intellectual capacity (probably the same level as a monkey who dropped his banana.) is not exactly helping your case.
So maybe it is time Curso, that you stop wasting your energy insulting other people and go think of a plan for TW that not only benefits members of Catalyst in TW, but also encourages other factions to engage in what is one of the most fun (perhaps THE most fun) instance in the game.

I see no reason to make anything fun for catalyst you rolled them once and you will do so again. The power of who owns the map depends on you as it always has disband catalyst and split into many diffrent guilds then we can talk about fighting other wise you waste your time even trying to tell us to attack you.
