    yep, this new forums look is pure awful, text is soooooo biggggg and i can't see anything correctly... and the font is blindingb:cry

    edit: felt big at first before typing, but yeah, the font/format look is killing me

    i like the brigthness of it, but the brown makes it look ugly like a fresh terd.

    if they wanted to make the forums brighter then there are other colors they can use.

    the only thing that seriously bothers me is the bold text when a topic has been posted in, it just seems very hard on the eyes, mainly because of the bold bright color on the dark background.

    <.< I've noticed that too. It's not as oddly proportioned when trying to quote someone anymore XD

    Now...if only they'd fix the padding/up the contrast between the default font and background, I might get used to it.

    If indeed the next stage would be to fix the padding, color contrast, bold text issue and perhaps bring back the Chimei avatars (They were honestly a nice addition, and a fun touch to the forums).

    Also, Updated the signature background - Not sure if it has the same feel as before now. Hmm...

    The sword doesn't really pop anymore and your character looks a little more washed out due to all of the brown. :( But I still like it.

    Yeah, it doesn't stand out as much as it did on the black background. Still, it's epic pixel-work ^^

    ;_; So many nice sigs had to change because of the background color.

    Edit: Advanced Quoting doesn't seem to work for me anymore.

    They've taken over a decade of vBulletin improvements and flushed them down the drain in a simple effort for change.

    I feel like I'm looking at 2001/2002-ish vanilla vBulletin install with an admin who only knows how to change colors and basic functions.

    Just logged into the forums since the change... and I was horrified when the page loaded. These are harder to read, extremely ugly, people's tiny tiny names by their avatars give me a headache if I try to decipher them, and I liked being able to just quickly type my login info at the top rather than open a confusing box that almost made me go to facebook. Plus, before we had EG *and* original classes in the background... which everyone liked better (there were complaints when you booted the original classes off with the Raging Tides expansion, this will be no exception).

    Everything about this change is bad. I cannot come up with one good thing about it.

    This is one of those times I'm kinda glad I don't have a sig. I'd probably want to murder the staff whenever they screwed around with the forums and messed up how well my sig looks relatively or the like.

    It was the FC glitch.... but for a more on-topic note, completely agree with him on how much wasted space there is. And it makes it far easier to hide messages, while more difficult to find them.

    I see they have changed the standard post text's font face again back to Verdana instead of addressing the real problem, the font size. That is disappointing, as the forum is still difficult to read and the font is unattractive now. I am evidently in the minority, but there's always the Stylish add-on for Firefox to change what I don't like.
