So, my view of the forum is now using the pre-Genesis theme and I see few posts since the release of Genesis. Is the forum broken? b:shocked

EDIT: Now it's changed again and looks worse still. :( At least the posts are back.

    no posts seem to have been lost, but they're definitely messing with the theme.

    me, i'm NOT getting the pre-genesis (raging tides era) theme, it's still genesis-like in color scheme and background graphics. but font sizes and layout seem to have changed, among other things. it doesn't look finished yet, either, it's got a distinct "work in progress" feel to it.

    Hey, at least it shows they're working on SOMETHING around here... even if it is to waste time changing the looks of the forums instead of doing something actually useful like fixing the Jones' blessing page or the FC glitch or rubberbanding.

    And yeah... ugly forum is ugly.

    At first glance it looks nice. But I HATE how small the font is now. And my purple doesn't look too nice on brown. And I think they're doing it so that people can't use black text to conceal messages.

    But they can use brown instead.

    ...Bah, I give up, someone will figure out the right brown to match the forum color soon enough!

    Not a fan. From a designer perspective its too bright considering its all Brown tones. There is also a lot of extra spacing that's not needed and stretches the forum. EDIT: Of course, the font change is not for the better. While titles are extremely big, post text is barely readable.

    Its almost blinding, really.

    Did they at least fix the forum glitches with it? I wonder...

    EDIT: I literally have to move my eyes from the screen every few minutes to let my eyes rest.

    They tried that before with getting "rid" of black text...It did not work, there are always color codes that can be used to hide text b:chuckle

    Like the overall look...

    But the spaces everywhere that stretch everything downwards are godawful >.<
    And ... lol this total width looks funny on a 22inch screen.
