Well no denying my laziness I suppose b:chuckle but really, I farm 3rd map for 2 hours and I'm lucky to get 200k. I haven't found anywhere with better drop rate yet. So say I get a nice weekend off, I can get maybe 8-10 hours in Unicorn forest. 1.5mil, a whole weekend to get 1 gold.
And I have a nice set of TT, I'm just sick and tired of rank 8er's calling my armor obsolete.0 -

Some people are so damned stupid about this sale. It's not like people weren't cash shopping gear before this. The only thing this sale did was make it easier for more people not have to sport junk gear while hoping one day they'd have 5 APS. If anything this sale was better than the pack one that preceded it.0

I agree with you. The problem is perception. Generally the same % of this forum have QQ'd since the day anni packs came out last September. Go into the game and see that pretty much nothing has changed besides in recent events besides more people having Rank 8 and now Rank 9. Changes happen in every game, someone always complains. PWI, while having amongst the worst public relations (sorry Frankie, you stink at it), goes in the direction that paying players go because they want to profit as much as they can. Players dictate the direction not only the gold prices go, but the direction PWI goes. Too bad this negative nancy portion of the forums can't see the forest for the trees.0 -

Epros. As you can already see already around 50 people are unhappy and 1 person is on average. Proof is in the game and forums, ask yourself how many people are unhappy with the game? Ask in game what people think and pwi and on forums and see what happens...
The point is a huge chunk of players, i'm talking over 80% are "pissed" at pwi. With good reason!
Just look at the economy for example, it's only going to get worse for you. Eventually coin will become so worthless in value items will be used to trade instead, rendering auctioneer useless. That's if the game lasts that long.
Now because PWI have taken a huge aspect of the game and made it easy, the lifespan of your typical player has gone down - dramatically. This means most CS players who are happy with their rank 8/9 gear will get bored within 2 - 3 months and quit. Those still coming into the game will find it surprisingly difficult past the level of 80, and begin to realize how bad the game actually is.
The red duke shouts are already enough to make me gag, and that's just one problem we are facing on a huge chain. Let's not forget that these problems are still merging on now, what's next bringing back perfect horns?
Bottom line, the rank 8/9 is not the only issue with PWI. Let's face it, and the people speak for themselves like I said every 50 people unhappy means 1 person happy, but that doesn't matter anyway as most of the people who are happy will soon get bored and quit.

seriously i dont know why every1 is raging.... i personally dont need to be competitve to others, i dont need my refines at +10 or higher, my gear on most of my chars is +3 on mirage stone and pve wise im still able to do anything.
i dont need to solofarm things after all this is a mmo rpg, so playing together with other ppl is what i expect from a mmo rpg.
seriously i found enough friends in this game and i dont need to get to 5 aps on any char to farm things.
now the complains - well thats pretty slow then. my answer : so who cares? i still play this game as it has been 2 yours ago, and i still have fun (i dont run the same thing over and over again) if u need to cash shop for ur items go for it, im not against cser i dont need to. i will try to get the stuff the old hard way, the way a game is supposed to be.0 -

PW seems to have gotten into my blood, somehow. I just like spending my time simply enjoying the game, playing with others, etc.
I do use CS - because I wanted that one specyfic mount and flyer when I moved to this servers - but I rather sell gold and buy used durables from players for 30-50% of the CS price. Thus, I rather like the gold price fluctuations - it makes possible for me to get my expences covered (as little as they may be, veno being my main) just from the differences. Know when to buy and when to sell - and you can get rich. All you need is some starting capital.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It's a specific group of people, if you pay attention to their history of posts on this forum, or even in game, complaints are very common, and from a business perspective one can only shrug their shoulders at those who are what one would designate as a "perpetual malcontent". There wouldn't be any reason to be mad if there wasn't a problem is there? Now regarding gold prices, you are actually wrong Epros. Players set the prices yes, but the developers have a HUGE impact on the prices in general. It's a very complicated system, which I really don't feel like typing up right now. Moving on.
The perfect horns were terrible, I don't know what your smoking. Seriously... Your telling me running an instance/tw/talking in faction chat with "I'M SPAMING HORNS" HI NEWBS! popping up every 2 seconds? ...On-top of bidding hall, pack spam and wedding spam?

As for the rank 8/9 issue. Yes, effectively it WILL get boring, you are correct people did have rank 8 before, only a handful of people I might add. However those people worked very hard for the gear it was a "status" which kept them playing. Now that "status" is no longer special, the effect will diminish in time and as a result people will leave - If you want to argue about it, try waiting a few months and actually seeing what happens yourself.
On a side note, leveling to 80 is not difficult. FC and Hypers make leveling way too easy, ontop of CS and BH. It's anything but difficult. But hey this is just another issue with PWI, but we arn't going there so moving on.
Now going back to my above comment. Look at you, then look at the many, many people who are unhappy. I count about 20 threads... What does that say Epros? You may enjoy the game, but if things continue like then PWI is no better then a private server. In which case you can expect war soul weapons popping up next.b:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
