    I think you guys are taking this who-got-chosen-for-forum-mod business a little too seriously. So what if we didn't get mods that knows everyone here? Did Ary know you guys in the very beginning when she moderated? Did spoons know any of you when he became a GM?

    It's not that hard to get to know people, they can read what you post and understand who you are that way. I know you might have wanted some other responsible posters to be mods, but to post that in a welcome thread, seriously? PM frankie or start a new thread or what the **** ever, but I think it's a pretty good effort that we will have 3 mods to replace 1.

    i didnt really like spoons a great deal.. but! man he got the job done and kept the community active with prizes and competitions, its a shame he left :(

    We've already said we're withholding judgement on the moderators themselves. Again the complaints here address the concerns of the decisions made in the first place. And, to answer in order:

    1) PMing Frankie would make all the complaints singular. In this instance, they can be seen by the community as a whole, where everybody can either agree or disagree. The whole "one voice" sort of idea, not that it goes far on these forums.

    2) A new thread would have been locked, and you and I and everybody else all knows it. That's how these forums have come to work, and I do not trust the new moderators enough to assume they would not close a separate thread. That is the state of these forums today. Nobody trusts their staff to leave a genuine thread open, thus we feel forced to voice our opinions in a place we normally wouldn't consider it.

    3) What the **** ever doesn't tend to work on these forums any more either.

    You see, this is why we have concerns. This is why there is a problem.

    There are complaints about decisions that have been made to staff because nobody knows these people and nobody trusts them - or the GMs - enough to make a new thread for these complaints. Because we all know it would be locked without question before anybody could speak out.

    This is why the situation is so concerning.

    Spoons was by far the best GM this game ever had. We can all agree on that.
