It's pretty obvious that the PWI forums need a little love, so I've enlisted the help of three new moderators.

Hey everyone,

To you I'm known as ChaoticShelly, but just Shelly is fine ^^

Forums have always been a big part of my communication with people and being part of the gamers community of PWE titles has been an even bigger part in recent year. As a graphic designer who works from home, I have plenty of time to spend both in game and in forums to occupy the dull moments between one project to another.

I've been playing PWE titles for a little over a year and was recently modded both here and in PWE's upcoming title's forum - Forsaken World. I'm online daily, so feel free to contact me if needed via PMs and I will try my best to help you out.

Please keep in mind that we Mods are people first and foremost. Our work is much easier if you follow the rules, avoid spamming, flaming and trolling-- and doing so will make a better and happier atmosphere and community for all of us here.

I hope we have a pleasant time together.

Hello everybody,

I guess some of you know me, the rest don't. My name is Grim. Call me Grim I guess Ill be one of the bad guys who will watch your every action on the forums b:laugh

I have a nice experience with forums and users: ex-admin in a few forums, ex-moderator in many more, ex-main admin in a game portal. Anyway, what I want to say is that you can always count on me if you need something. Just send me a PM and Ill try to help you ASAP. There are a few things that you should know, so we can get along well.

I like people who are helping to a person in need. I like people who are nice to the rest and evade the risk of beginning a war in the forums.

Now, here are a few things that I want you to do :

Follow the rules, respect other players and dont forget that behind the shiny avatar there is a human just like you.

And the things you shouldnt do :
Break the rules, spam the forum, troll, start flame wars or try to ruin the good atmosphere around in any way.

Well, Im not good at speeches, so yea - see you around.

I kind of have to agree with an earlier post.

Two people I've never heard of before, but hey maybe I just don't browse the right forum. And the one I have heard of seems to be more of a forum spammer then anything else.

Oh well, I don't know why I got my hopes up in the first place.

but erm seriously congrats all who got mod... ship, good luck with your new positions, hopefully, you all wont make too many controversial judgments in the next few days/weeks.

I am sure that you all were hand picked, and someone decided you all were a nice pick, at least I hope so... but still, we as the people who play/use these forums will be watching you all, (which I am sure you already know) so good luck to all three of you, and be sure to take a break from us all for a little bit every once in a while.

I know of only one, and him I outright disapprove of, yes.

I won't make a judgement on the other two I don't know, aside from the fact that I don't know them and, in general, I'm of the opinion you should know your moderators. So yeah. I don't approve of two practically nameless people becoming moderators, but hey, maybe they'll prove to do a good job.

It's the one I do know of that I entirely disapprove of, and it's this sort of thing that makes me wonder if people on the staff team know what the hell they're doing.

We ought to already know that they don't know what they're doing.

I do hope that they will do a good job with the situations of the threads being like that because of the changes that keep happening every time that MOSTLY **** people off.

It won't be easy being a mod especially at this point. But we'll see how it goes 'neways.

Believe me, your welcome hasn't even started yet. The position of moderator is earned through trial by fire, and you've not even started walking on the coal pit.

That said, I know why you're here.

Apparently PWE couldn't be bothered to find anybody better suited for the job.

I am going to be blunt and frank here...

1) Gratz to the new mods

2) I know of one and...?

3) It is easier when the community KNOWS some of these people. Pre-respect I guess you can say.

Anyways, I can name 4-5 ppl here on PW that could and imo should be mods. They have earned the respect of the community and people know them and know where they stand. The requisites for modding these forums is starting to concern not only me but much of the community.

I hope you new mods can take the heat and I HOPE you know these forums.

Past mod's didn't so much and the community continued to police themselves. Mod's should be eased into the community and somewhat know not just thrown at us. The dogs come out to bite and play and tbh you all have A LOT of work to do since these forums have been overlooked in the past month or so.

Good Luck to you all. Learn who we are and learn these forums well. You will need to do both to make it here.
