I doubt anybody will take my seriously on my other account so here goes this account.
I've been on the forums since well what, the summer of 2009.
I've seen moderators come and go during the same time.
However I do agree, we need moderators people know.
Its disgusting sometimes how PWE thinks they can just give us these people to us like this.
No offense to the new moderators of course.
But before you make claims you have been here for a while,
I think its best to prove that you have been.
For one as example, every here knows Red.
Why?
She's a complete active member of the forums.
The new moderators are not known by well...
Almost the whole majority of posters.
They will be flamed (already happening), trolled (same thing), etc.
But we have to give them a chance before we say they fail.
Its like food.
It looks disgusting so you don't give it a chance.
But the people who do, it tastes like the best thing in the world.

It also seems to indicate you do not know these forums.
Look at the people you are talking to. Look at the community. They are a community recently slandered by their own GMs of "nit picking" when they asked for something to be clarified and they are community accused of being "most likely to break the rules" if they asked for clarification.
You are talking to a community who has been outright slandered, insulted and let down by the moderators and GMs they do know.
And you are asking us to trust new, faceless moderators to do a better job.
Keep in mind who you're talking to and what they've had to sit through and deal with from GMs and previous moderators before you tell us to have any form of patience with you and keep in mind everything that's gone before when you ask us to give you a chance.
This community is not willing to give many chances.
They have done so before, and were met with nothing but disappointment on all accounts. Better to not give them chances and have nothing further ruined, then to put trust in them again.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

However, you have to understand no one knows these ppl but one and IF I look up all his old posts...ijs
Everything being said has been said before. The community WILL be watching you. But know this, the mod system tends to take ppl to the forums (other games) that they know better. Kon really was the only semi-fulltime mod we had here in this Game. Even then many questioned it but people KNEW him, but I alone also spent countless hours talking to him and giving him threads and the like that were heading for trouble, necro's etc.
Here we do not care about JD/FW/etc but those forums are paid much more attention too. EACH forum should have their own set of specific mod's...we can only wish for that. But I know that the games each mod plays = those forums will be focused on more.
We help each other but he had an advatage we knew him and where he stood. You no one knows anything about as with another. And tbh one of the new mod's (6x BM spammer) is beyond shocking and in seeing old posts...ijs
We will all see and judge on what we see. It is on you all now, we are a tough crowd and you must earn our trust. MORE SO on a forum that has been on the verge for months...

Grats on your forum promotions... I guess. I can understand and respect volunteering to help the SPCA or a soup kitchen, but I won't disrespect you just for volunteering to help here, since this is a place I do like to have fun.
The only one truly important things about a moderator? They have to be able to enforce rules fairly and consistently over time, monitor the forums well and know when to stay out of something and when to jump in. New moderators are likely to start off very inconsistently and tend to try too hard trying to figure out how they fit in. Proceed with caution, you're always going to have to walk on eggshells here.

When I state the honest truth - and I haven't been the only person to do so in this thread - I am openly told by you not to do so. Is it simply because it's easier to target somebody you know has or has had disputes with more forum goers in the past then the other people saying the same damn thing?

Since you have joined there were 2 female mods and 2 male mods, if you really want to consider Konari a mod.
