    Has to be in porportion to the players playing on the server.


    Otherwise the server with the most players will always win.


    You cant hold a fair contest when say one server has 5000 active, and another has 1000. If only 20% of the server with 5000 participate, then they win by default.

    For me, this is the real problem here.

    I can accept that a mistake happened. Maybe Bob thought John was doing it, and John thought Bob was doing it. Maybe they entered the date wrong. Maybe the guy who was going to do it had a bad car accident. I have no idea, but have no problem accepting that things happen unexpectedly.

    What I can't accept (even though we've sort of known it all along) is that although GM's do exist, they obviously don't exist at the times when the game needs them the most. When 5PM Friday rolls around, those guys go home and fly kites and picnic with their kids. Meanwhile, most people play the game evenings and weekends, which is when the GM's are MIA.

    Perhaps more importantly, someone (Moderator? GM?) obviously took the time to do something about this thread, and somehow came to the conclusion that the best thing to do was to simply make it go away. This isn't the first time they've taken this approach (can't recall for sure, but I think the other one was the DQ price decrease). That's just inexcusable.

    That's always been their approach. Never acknowledge that there is a problem and hope the angry mob goes away.

    I have to say I agree with you.

    I am not sure why they would take the sticky off, makes no sense since people will obviously continue to bump this thread until there is an answer.

    Overall I think LC has taken it fairly well, but the key here is frustration. A simple: "There have been issues and we are in the middle of taking care of things," would have been enough imo.

    Silence can be deadly and more so in situations like these. Keeping the community happy and informed should be a number one priority and this case there was a failure....

    So my question is how do you know information that hasnt been publicly posted? I thought GMs dont play favorites or give information out to players.

    Ok even though their weird time schedule shows that it's approximately 8:30am there (9:30am Pacific in the real word), their offices SHOULD be open... I, like many others, are awaiting a response... of.. any... kind...

    wow, it is really difficult not to be a jerk when you have waited for a response this long...

    1) No promised x2 for LC
    2) Thread quickly removed from sticky
    3) Thread left to rot by GMs
    4) Thread bumped because points one thru three are unreasonable and a very bad move on the GM's part

    I believe the offices where PWI are located should be into their office hours by now (10.14am I think)
