    I still haven't seen a response from GMs on why and when mirage decomp rates were reduced and if or when they plan on fixing it. Right now a 3 star g12 is worth as much as a 3 star g1 for the amount it breaks down into. I count on mirage breakdowns for selling or refining my own gear.

    Can a GM please respond as to why this was done and if/when it will be fixed and returned to normal.

    The removal of the perfect horn was doable ONLY b/c they could remove/add stuff in the boutique. The PW dev/gm etc didn't change the game coding.. its still there for perfect horns. Basically they did nothing but remove the option to buy that product. Suddenly you think they deserve a medal for it.

    Lets get down to the real business. If I pay for a pair of Nike's I don't want a pair of wal mart knock offs. Thats what we are getting here with this game. A knock off. However; we are still paying full price. Do you get all the reasons for whining now?

    Still you can not blame the Gm's. You can blame them for working for a company that wants to **** over their player base, but you can't blame them for the decisions that company makes that they have no part in.

    Well I don't see this happening. Its already too easy to level. This would also cut their profit margin on estoricas and oracles. They would be dropping down their profits if they did this, not raising them. At my level I don't want more experience. I don't care if I level again, I'd like to make money to get better gears and weapons tho. Thats what would impress me. I will go back to my 14 coin gripe. At my level 14 coins is an insult. I'd rather not get any coins drop at all out of a mob then to get 14 coins.

    The gm response is what it is.. just another teaser to tide over the masses and try to shut them up. I don't think its going to work this time though, I believe that the irony has gone too far.

    Apparently most of you do not know how games like this work. Research it on Google.

    All PWI is, is a contract with PW China that basically says that they'll pay PW China a set amount of money to host their game on their servers. - plain and simple.


    All the GM's do here is Pay for/maintain the servers, install updates received and control what is in the cash shop and how much it cost and x's exp/spirit/drops. (for the most part) b:sad

    Edit: Usually on these types of contracts/games they have little or no control to what is done with their set version and district.

    Edit2: I take back all of what I said from above. Although in most cases that is how it works, but not in this case unless I'm miss understanding the following:

    Perfect World Entertainment Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perfect World Co. Ltd., was established in the United States in April 2008 to localize and publish our games in North America. Three games produced by us have already been successfully launched in North America.     I think where the developers are failing is in adding drops that are untradable but usefull to make gear.

    the gear should not be as good as TT but something in between 3* and TT.

    IMO that could be an aceptable compensation in my books.

    The DQ price change was originally made because of rampant gold-farming in the Chinese version of the game. It's a drastic measure, but one that was deemed necessary on their end.

    However, our version of the game does not suffer from the same problem as the Chinese version, and we believe that it's unfair to you guys to have to deal with this change. It is for this reason that we are actively pushing for something to be done in our version to counteract this DQ price change.

    Pretty much this. This code change of DQ price changes might also be integrated into other sections of the patch...so if it's changed, who knows what else might change (Duke Rose Fiasco, anyone remember...?).

    I believe that simply (correct me if im wrong) they take/translate the patches from the Chinese version of PW and use those for this version. So if the Chinese (or whatever version of PW) version has the DQ change, then our version will most likely have it as well. As to something to counteract this, i think the many threads regarding bringing back the 2x drop permanently should be looked at.

    Sounds better now. It's just that if the compensation doesn't exist in the CN servers, isn't it going to hard to apply the patches anymore? Of course it depends what kind of compensation it is (more common world map drops anyone?).

    Well personally, i dont care about it, i was just thinking that since the DQ prices are gioing down, then the extra drops would make up for it.

    If this doesn't calm you all down then...

    Go scour the net for a new game...

    Preferrably one with a theme about cry babies & the winner is the one who complains the longest & loudest.

    Because only then will you all be happy.

    To those of you who never pay PWI for their game...

    You get EXACTLY the amount of consideration you deserve from them.

    I think they are quite generous to you as well as far more patient than I am about it.

    Just be happy paying players make your game possible & enjoy what you have or move on.

    True. Funny thing is that this rumor was posted to a thread around a month ago, along with the same reason. What's even funnier is that I'm only one response away from being content with PWE; I want to know why it will be here.
