Well we all know deep inside wich one surpasses who, i don't need to bother any further, just take a look around when it comes to Clerics fighting Wizards, it's all over the place. Talk all you want about that "end-game" thingies (like you are even included in that list lol), it gets boring anyways. Funny part is that I formed my opinion from 9x Wizards wich are suppose to be "end-game". Meh whatever, live your world wichever way you want, I'm tired of reapetable posts.
And I'm not even close to Frop, we were always debating with that person on every single subject, also i always try to keep things civilised, something that most fail to do or are incapable of doing.

...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze0 -

oh ya idk if it was this post but i was suprised at that crit cause my damage is going up rapidly. i remember when i was lvl 5 and wanted to hit a mob for 1k and now im hitting in the 2.5k range and criting in the 7k's for pve and in pvp i hit a CLERIC for 600 and i when he asked for a rematch:
he tried healing himself
i used FoW
then i used sandstorm (he had no earth resist) and it crit for 1200 (he has less health than i do..1k)Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.

I see Mikel u think u know much..butthere is still much for u to learn...
BTW what phsycal damage are u saying at end game??? It won;t be that noticable as now...wh to spend shards on wepons if we may grow it?
But if u want to see that lvl 101 izard had 13 k physcal defence easily and can be even more with shards... just look this

As you see the Plume Shot from the cleric barely makes a scratch.0 -
Cause they can attack fast and heal self and are good as casters and healers unlike wisards who can only attack slowly but in the end are equily powerful although i still belive clerics are better0

I have a feeling that some of You doesn't even realise there are other aspects of this game than PvP. Why don't you just install quake? Oh well... nvm.
Ok so we established this: Wizards pwn clerics (sorry for that kind of word but that's the language kids speak these days) at 90+ or at 100+, or to say it in English they have an advantage in PvP. Cool. Now look at it again and think for a moment. At 100+. Don't you see the joke? Really? Ok. There is no chance for understanding each other here. Wiazards pwn.
Now lets look at some other aspect. The OP didn't precise what he meant by better. In what situation would You find a wizard more useful for your squad than a (possibly second of third) cleric (and assume you can choose any cleric you want). At what level?0 -
Wel Priodar, at 100+ wizard become balanced Yeah. But that dont mean wizard suck before.
They need to be played well and carefully to be good.
We have our role: Kill catapullers in TW, tank mantavip and magical bosses.
Why people don't ask to Tank those magical bosses? It's because they don't used to do it.
Everyone used to call a barb and a cleric.

Why do you show me this? Do you know anyone in our servers with such things on them? are you kidding me? Also if that Cleric (i didn't watch the video, it doesn't load for some reason) had the same attributes as that Wizard, would plume shot(even though I wasn't really refering to that) still scratch the wizard? Why do I doupt it so much? also why are you all stuck at "end-game"? while the 100s in this game are counted in the fingers of my right hand.

The reason wiz's talk end game is cause they plan on being at end game at some point not going through all the pain to tank out at 7x. Have to take the long view to play a wiz. Else we'd all just reroll veno's.
Until there are some lev 1xx of each class willing to duke it out, the whole thing is speculation no matter how fervent you are about your views.0 -

cause he was trying to prove a point by giving an extreme as example. The fact of the matter is the sittuation in those clips is getting more and more possible as u come close to that 100 lvl.
I know is hard to swallow the fact that "owning wizzies" changes to "be own by wizzies" as the lvl progress, but hey, ain't that normal? you're a support char that can do some dmg. Accept your status. No one calls for a cleric as DD. there's always a Archer/Wizz/Veno+Ph on that position. Wonder why.
And from your part just being stubborn and insulting other ppl intelligence proves something else. I'll let u figure it out by yourself what.____________

I was just speakingthis way because I see you think that clerics are the best in eevry level..andu say that end game will never come...
the video may come in in next try though...but as u know that cleric was good and had an orange/red weapon also justlike thi wiz...and the plume shot didnt do so uch damage..as if u saw the first link wichn=you have not clicked onit a sage wizard had 13 k physical defence...even higher than magical...
And why am I talkin about this?? Because whatreallymater its what is in the end...now If u say that a venomancer can beat a cleric below lvl 20 or an archer can be defeated beow lvl 20 by other classes...I dont think u will grree becaus eu wllspeak on the lvl 60-70... and more...
Well I speak about lvl 100. Ad the damage is higher than the cleric ones...the Tempest deals 400% for clerics but the dragonstrike is 500% from weapon and the number is higher too...
And the blade tempest for wizard the base magci attack is doubled too...so they hitharder...only slower...0 -

I would prefer it if you would give it straight to me, you see sometimes I can get quite dumb too.
Also yes I am quite a stuburn person I always was, always will be but at the same time I'm always open to other's people opinions just not opinions that are based on dreams or futuristic sights and ambitions.
I might be totally wrong about Wizards and they are not one bit underpowered wich is what i claimed in the first place but as long as you can't prove it with something better than screenshots of unrealistic numbers that require lots of money to earn or other idiologicall speculations, I will simply listen to the ones that did make it to "end-game" and are dissapointed by it.

No ones reached rank 8, no ones even close.
I don't think its safe to even say wizards are strong just because of those videos.
I see plenty of videos and screenshots of Pandora owning his way through tw and pk wars, but do you really believe it all?
Most videos are created for the sole purpose of showing off THEIR character.
You just happened to bring up the wizard ones.
There probably is strong characters out there who aren't wizards also.
Plus this person happened to spend a fortune on their character.
IIRC, the cost is 100 yen per 1 gold on the japanese servers.
That equates to slightly (very) more than one USD per gold as well, similar to our currency.
The money to put a wizard in that gear is ridiculously high.
Give any character that sort of gear and I don't see why no one else would be able to make similar videos about destroying things.
Given the actual facts though, wizard's skills really are just elemental versions of cleric's. In PK, how often will the element actually matter? Unless youre a wizard against wizard, chances are most people are going to find armor with all 5 elements in tact (to better keep themselves balanced). In that case, pvp wise, element really doesn't matter and the cleric can destroy you as easily with cyclone as you do with gush. (seeing how these two things are completely identical).
Sandstorm is strong, but so is wield thunder.
If it comes down to high -channel, say we really get to -99%...
Sandstorm's cast time is 1.5 seconds.
Wield Thunder's is 1.2 seconds.
Their cooldown is the same.
Element aside, they're both quite similar.
Channeling void, what makes wizards the harder hitter?
I see people saying wizards hitting the "hardest"...
What gives wizards that ability, that clerics don't have their own metal version of? Element voided, its really hard to tell the difference.
PvE wise I'd say Mages are a little more versatile.
We can't heal ourselves mid battle per say, but, we can certainly kite better.
Versus being hit but being healed, and not being hit at all, I'd stand on the "not being hit" side...
Mages, PvE, solo oriented.

And here come the veno. non wizard stay out of wizard forums, you'r puts don't have any value.
I will say it one more time: since I get my level 59 skill I don't feel squishy no more.
Since I started to pvp, I never felt "Oh **** wizard sucks". All my duel don't last more than 15 secondes. Why? because cleric, veno and archer get sealed and sutra blade tempest. because bm/barb get slowed, distance shrink and sutra BID. Since I reached lvl 70 I don't get one shoted by archer or axe bm no more.
And each time I lost was on my fault, when I bad timed my attack. And same reason my enemies lost. Go ask Ayano-chan from Legendary, she's a wizard, not that high and she pwn at pvp. This is a real exemple from sanctuary. Go ask ELFron_M from Nefarious. Ask DirtyWiz from D'Gamers if they "suck".
AsimMehta don't listen to those people, they really don't know what their are talking about. If you want real opinion, ask the wizards I quoted above.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Maybe thats why wizards hit a bit harder...
And I cant say wizards is a PVE class...the undine strike wich reduces 60% of magic resistence its not that usefullfor mobs...nonetheless 600 mana waste I think...nand the sleep skill too is useless in PVE...Ultimate skills are a waste also in PVE...
And I dont know how solo can be a wizard...I neevr could solo a single boss...but veno can venin TT too...0 -

Done talking about stuff you don't have any experience with or do you want to babble on more about stuff you'll not ever see? Every single thread you make, you attack an idea over and over without accepting any input but your own. Simply put you've started tons of threads and argued the same thing in every one without any basis in fact. Level to 100 on a PK server, then go duke it out with lev 100 Wiz's. Can't do it?
