    wtf? what the hell...... im guessing your not a native speaking english person. PvP and mobs are much different. i cant hit higher than an archer in PvP, but i can spike for more on a mob..

    and you are trying to tell me that someone asking for you to clarify your question is not trying to answer it ?

    people ask you to be more specific as they have stated there are highest spike (single attack) damage, highest continuous damage (aka over time), highest of either in pvp or against monsters, against which monsters it depends to
    people are trying to ask you to clarify and giving you some answers for each yet you're starting to talk down to them and then telling them to calm the hell down , while not wanting to ask their simple question to clarify, please ./

    Argueably the Archer has highest spike damage either PvP or PvE. Highest Continuous Damage (DPS btw is Damage per Second) I would say mixed Honors Blademaster (Melee) and Wizard (Magic and Ranged).
    Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.

    LOL? are you serious? archer has NO spike damage in PvE wizards WAY out Spikes archers in PvP also. DPS is deffinetly fist BM. GG go play PW some more

    DPS = Damage Per Second

    Means the highest damage dealt per second, and Fist BM is way far from dealing any considerable "high" damage per second.

    They have the highest number of hits per second, yes, but when they do 50 damage per hit, I wouldn't consider them that much.

    umm are you on crack? fist BMS deal the highest steady DPS.... they do.. 1.43 attacks per second? at level 75 a bm level 73 was hitting me for 150 damage per hit..... thats ..... about 225 dps. archers dont deal nearly that much.... neither do mages.... nor do clerics..... nor do barbs...... nor do venos.... epic fail, GG

    A level 75 BM hits me for 80's.

    So if you say it's 225 per second with normal hits. An Axe/Polearm BM will hit for 500+ during the same time. And there's a bigger difference when using skills.

    Fist BM have the worst damage out of all the weapons a BM can use. And it's a fact.

    But oh wait, in the same second a Fist BM dealt 225 damage, a Mage dealt 5k damage, so did an Archer or even a FAC Cleric.

    Really, normal hits are stupid in PvP, and skills are all that matter. Fist BM skill damage sucks, and it's 2~3k or even more belllow another weapon BM.

    FYI: PWI has no successful fist bms... i have yet to see one use its full potentiol

    12 Seconds cooldown time for that skill. Stuns can be resisted, and anyways, any other weapon can do that job much better than Fist BM, just dealing way more damage :)

    Most BM skills can be done after 1 second, so you do on average 1 skill per second.

    That's the topic about, DAMAGE.

    no, as a barb, on a properly equiped BM i do about.. 400 damage with my best skill. 1.5 seconds to cast. a fist bm will hit me for about 500 before i get that off. and, they will deal even more to arcane users with skills. people underestimate fist bms.

    You seriously have to come here and see how much Fist BM suck against any other PvP class.

    I have never lost to any Fist BM, and I always end with 2 sparks and full HP when fighting them, even if they are 5~9 levels higher than me...they simply they way too low damage.

    And if a Fist BM deals 500 damage to you in 1.5 seconds....you seriously need to improve your equipment.

    By much better equipment I'm sure you have +4~5 refinement, and Flawless shards on your 4 sockets equipment, which is all HH/Legendary by the way. With a +5~6 Weapon, right?

    Anyways, 5~9 levels higher than me is better equipment than what I have. And also many fights have been with Fist BM with the same equipment as me, yet, same result.

    Really, you overvalue them, specially when high level PvP comes to who can deal the highest damage to kill in 1-2 hits after Charm ticked.

    I'll give you the downsides of Fist BM:

    1.- Much lower damage than any other weapon, specially when using skills.
    2.- Much lower HP than any other weapon BM.
    3.- Evasion is useless with Misty Forest ring, +% Accuracy rings and powders.
    4.- Any other weapon BM can have as much Critical Hit chance as them.
    5.- Even with their high Accuracy, they still miss.
    6.- They are not able to outdamage a Charm or even potions.

    Now, good things about Fist BM:

    1.- They are the cheapest, so it's good for poor people.
    2.- They have good animation skills.
    3.- They can deal the highest number of attacks in 1 second.

    seems like you have an inner hatred of fist bms. most of the time PvP is not 1v1 its usually grouped. they still deal high DPS than other classes.... when did i say to bring up ups and downs of fist bm? we are talking about DPS.

    and yes, my gear is deffinetly better than yours. GG

    Group PvP is even worse, no AoE skills and low damage...

    Anyways, this topic is about damage, and I doubt people will consider the 200's damage of a Fist BM against the 5~10k damage of other classes.

    I'll let you believe that Fist stands a chance in damage comparation against any other weapon...you will find the answer later.

    I'll explain this simply to you, so you can understand:

    Time: 5 Seconds, this is on PvE.

    1.- Fist BM dealt an amazing amount of 4k in 5 seconds.
    2.- Axe BM dealt a low amount of 13k in 5 seconds.
    3.- Archer dealt an even lower amount of 25k in 5 seconds.
    4.- Wizard did 35k damage in 5 seconds.

    Who won? Who dealt the most DPS?....

    Just do this: Amount of damage / 5 = damage dealt per second.

    The fact that you have the highest number of hits per seconds do not gives you the best DPS out of all classes when your hits are so low.
