Do we want StrumSlinger to do an AMA (AskMeAnything) on Reddit?

Hi! I'm a fellow player, and moderator of the /r/Neverwinter subreddit on Reddit.com. Some of us have requested that StrumSlinger (aka Andy) do an AMA on Reddit. AMA stands for Ask Me Anything. It will give everyone a chance to ask him whatever we want. I can't guarantee that he will answer everything, because some things are confidential, I'm sure, but we can at least ask!

He has agreed to do one if us players want him to. I definitely would like for him to do it. So let me know here! Thanks!

No worries, I was being silly in response to sillyness.

He's in office with PWE, so he is privy to a lot of information. The only question would be what he is able to discuss, which would be the same limitations on any Developer. So really, worrying about him not being able to answer something because he is a CM is irrelevant in my opinion.

Yeah, but honestly, I've seen the CMs provide us with wrong information so many times, even the developers seem to be misinformed a lot of the time.

I want to ask my questions to the person who actually has a role in creating it.

If I recall correctly, Strumslinger isn't even in the same office as the devs

Depending on your question, even the person who had a role in creating it might not be able to answer it. They are all under some pretty strict NDAs.

I realize it's called "Ask me ANYTHING", but if he agrees, Strum should stipulate what questions he will or will not answer, (thus saving everybody's time).

It's great to get some dev/company input/feedback, but I would rather such an endeavor be productive, as opposed to "X feature sux plz fix kthxbye".

In all honesty, I wanted it to be a light and fun AMA, like "What's the worst food challenge that Alex has given you so far" type stuff, not real serious questions about the game that he probably isn't allowed to answer even if he did know.

I'm all for a light-hearted, stress-free AMA where we can all get to know each other

. Alex will probably be next to me if I do indeed do this, so I can probably answer more questions about the game.

OMG YAY! PLEASE do an AMA! Usually we get some pretty good stuff from them!
