The armor is tank oriented, the arms give a fluctuating stacking effect that is only useful in specific circumstances. So it looks like for DPS, it's get the boots and done.

I had planned to replace all my blessed gear with forest guardian. Same stats. Same bonuses. Build already done. But now that idea is ruined and i would have to start my build all over to make the guardian gear work. The gear is trash now. Nothing but Ilevel that will just be scaled away. Wow.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining because I hate the game. I'm complaining because I love it and I hate what they did to it.
I don't want to quit. I want them to fix it.
I've already prepared a build to maximize my damage, control and recharge speed. It's ruined if I equip this gear. But if I don't equip it, I will be at a disadvantage and building it was a waste of time and many million AD.
Hi @cryptic39#8917
I don`t think you will consider I deserve an answer to these questions after I criticized some of your team decissions regarding some changes but you need to understand guys that some of those things you do affects us, our lifes that we choose to spend playing your game and for the respect needs to be mutul in order to make something good out of it. I may understand that you guys work under pressure and have to respect some deadlines but the overwhelming amount of negative feedback should tell you that the way team approaches these changes are very impactful and not always in a good way. You are not a player as I do even if you play your product to test it and see if it feel right. Because the more you play and the fair you do it, the more you feel like things don`t line up as it should. If you rely on the fact that players spend from days to years on your game trying to hit the boundries and after one update everything becomes almost worthless, you will understand what I am talking about. Until then, with 100 Coalescent Wards in inventory on live server like @nitocris83 have, worthing almost 100millions AD, you will don`t understand the real value of our time spent in this game. Because for Julia or any of you, 100millions represents just some pixels, but for me is the time I have spent over the past few years to achieve.
Now I would like to ask you few question about the way you guys see things now and in future because as you may heard or not there are many people, including me, who think that with all the scaling changes happening in most of the game content, it will eliminate the true desire of trying to improve their actual equipment, enchantments, insignias, collars and so on, from a certain point. So..
1. How does scaling make the difference between a player who spent 40 millions AD to buy or upgrade all his enchantments to rank 15 and another one without any equiped enchantments? Because status wise it won`t be any difference due to the fact that they are scaled and they will easily meet the closer requested item level and match their ratings and have the same end results in terms of statuses percentages.
2. How you will make a difference between a new player (undergeared) and an old player(meets the requirement or exceed it) in a scaled content if they get the same quality of rewards based on rng? What is the point of progression if in terms of rewards quality I can simply obtain the same thing a fully geared people can as an undergeared player? Do not mention the fact that the completion time compared will be very similar and for sure someone smart enough won`t spend AD to upgrade his enchantments/insignias for other purpose but meeting the minimum requested item level.
3. Why do we still need higher item level gears as you presented here in this topic if this item level won t be relevant in most of scaled content? I don`t find it fun to carry 100 items in inventory, for the sake of better performance in scaled content. When you guys introduced scaled content you have this ideea in mind of making old gears relevant again in terms of performance but hey; Isn`t that a defying logic of a real world? For example: Would a company choose to deliver the same performance in older products as they do with their high end tech? No! Because they are killing the reasoning of making and selling better stuff to people. Why I would buy an Xphone 12 if i can use my Xphone 5 and have the same performance? The natural process of working things should always rely on delivering better product, better performance, better desing and make older generations become obsolete so that people have the desire. No one will carry 5 Xphones in his poket for the sake of any particular feature the company implemented to be distinct just to obtain even better performance than the latest Xphone in some situations. If they do, they are crazy people.
4.How do you plan so solve the enchantments/insignias situation to give a better rate in terms of what you pay and what you gain? I think the solution would be pretty much obvious and change all the ratings to percentages and give a higher combined rating, but I don`t know how this will be perceived after you guys already made some big changes to statuses.
Now my feedback regarding the proposed changes of mod 20 gears.
I like the ideea of reintroducing the old desired bonuses to the new items. I think it is a good thing and this is the way to go in future even if it becomes a bit repetitive at some point. It is like choosing a certain model of car and when you decide to buy another one you get the exact same model because you like the improvements but it gives what you were looking for and get used to.
I don`t think raising the Item Level won t make any difference and I don`t think this introduction is needed any time soon since the highest Item Level you can currently hit on live is way above the latest upcoming content in the game.
I was hoping to see some set bonuses like:
Forest Guardian set bonus:
Increase your damage by 1,25%
Increase your damage rezistence by 1,25%
Increase your outgoing healing by 1,25%
This bonus applies only in Sharandar and it may stack
up to 4 times depending on how many pieces of this
set you have equiped.
For helm the bonus I would see: When you hit your target or being hit by the target for 10%
of your total Hit points your accuracy and awarness is increased by 1.25%. Stack up to 4 times.
For arms the bonus I would see: Your power is increased by 1% This bonus may stack up to 5%
based on how many players you have in your team.
For armor the bonus I would see: When you hit your target or being hit by the target for 5%
of your total Hit points your critical strike and critical severity is increased by 1%. Stack up to 3 times.
Additionally when your enemy applies a slow effect to you, your movement speed is increased by 15% for 4s.
For boots the bonus is just fine.
I'll be done the 1st part of the campaign and maybe the 2nd too, before I get a single piece of forest guardian.
Forest Guardian gear is months away from mod drop.
So to some things up putting decent rewards even if there bound rewards in your newest content ( better rewards then content 2 mods old) keeps end gamers playing which keeps your community playing and makes you more money. keeping the players happier and making you more money seems like a win win to me so correct me if I'm wrong. That's my issue with m20 rewards not the bonuses on the gear from the campaign store......
Also putting an IL cap on the newest dungeon takes away min/max builds and caters your newest end game content to the lower players. I promise this and the rewards will cause end game players like myself to not even play this mod.
Thank you for your time
feedback - gear
Head: Fey Hunter: +5% Damage in all of Sharandar - good for dps
Body: Leader’s Awareness: Gain 1500 Awareness for each player in your team - good for tanks
Arms: Death Defier’s Accuracy: Gain 500 Accuracy for each Enemy you are engaged in - good for NO ONE
Feet: Charged Mastery: When your Stamina is over 75%, your Combat Advantage is increased by 7500 - good for dps
we have 2 items for dsp, 1 for tanks and 0 for healers as always
pls, replace the bonus, which is useless for all classes, on arms, so that a thing that is necessary for healers appears
for example...
Arms: Gain 500 Outgoing Healing and 500 Incoming Healing for each player in your team
or
Arms: When your Stamina is over 75%, your Incoming and Outgoing Healing is increased by 2500
why not? we really need it, we really want it
give us (healers) more sense in farming new gear
Could you change the forest bonuses that give ratings to % please?
Thanks a lot in advance.
