Guys, just a suggestion. The server status is showing Green, leading us all to believe that the server is up and functioning....Then after the character selection screen, we are disconnected. If you would set the server status to red until everything was OK, your server wouldn't be taking as many login hits.
combine what tazz4now and fireflowerx stated....those are my feelings on this outage. my only criticism is that the the server status should be red throughout an outage until it is completely fixed.
Seriously Cryptic, your QA is horrible. Set the Server Status to Red until the login issue is completely fixed. We had a 15 minute window at 5:15pm CST where we were able to login and then the Hamster in the machine surfaced again..... Come on!
Seriously Cryptic/Perfect World....the game was back up for 15 mins at approx. 5:15pm CST and has went down again. Set the server status to red until the maintenance to fix your issues has been completed.
Now I get authenticated in, the Character choice screen pops up. After I select a character I get kicked off with Unable to connec t to the Account Server
Yes it is still happening. Server status shows Green but Authentication is failing. And I should note that I am on a Business Internet Connection at my residence with a guaranteed SLA, so I know it is not an issue on my end.
I am getting the following error on logging in "Account TIcket Problem" and the launcher shows "Unable to Authenticate: Connection to the Account Server Timeout" Whats going on and why am I locked out of my account.
I have no problems with DPS on my CW. I can handle groups of mobs in PvE and drop them quickly all the way up to Chult, which I am barely ready for. I would suggest searching on the internet for builds and guides on CW's to see if your build/enchants/spells you use in battle etc. are correctly optimized.
I am an IT Professional. My ISP is not down, tracert shows that this is an issue on Cryptic's end. Cryptic needs to quit passing the buck and fix the issues.
Personally, I can't wait to see what patch the patch for the patch requires. You guys need to beef up that Quality Assurance team to make sure debacles like this stop happening. From a seasoned developer and development team lead standpoint, some heads would be rolling over issues like this in my company.
I have ran well more than 30 to 40 CTA skirmishes and not one Token. Perfect World and Arc Games, I am a software architect, if your QA team worked for me, they would be drawing an unemployment check....glitches like this happen way too much in this game.
