I tried another workaround: I had the character walk near a wall set to disappear once the character reaches a component I placed far away. The mobs are set to patrol 1 way to the same location. I put an invisible wall around them containing them, also set to disappear same as wall. I can see them spawn, see them trying to…
Edited: Ahh thanks, your next post answered my remaining questions :) I guess I can do this the hard way: on the bright side it seems if the character has ever[/] entered the trigger, they spawn on objective met. I can use that :)
Ok so if I set one encounter up near the character, I can then spawn a group of mobs far away from the character? I'll go try it.... thanks for the tip.
Hrmm... this puts a crimp in my plans. I have and inky cloud (looks like a darkness spell went off) and i want it to disappear when the nearby mobs are killed, or if the player has a certain item not be able to see it at all. Basically I am looking for a second way to despawn the inky cloud(in addition to killing the…
Right... once you select "visible if player has item" the object disappears. Doesn't matter if you have the item, or not, and doesn't matter if its inverted or not either. What gives?
Thanks for all the help! I will go check each of the quest objectives and see if I have point/area selected correctly, and check for pathing problems... and I'll even check the z key.
I think the problem xiolin is that PWE is charging Chevy Corvette prices for Chevy Cavalier type products. The most expensive in game products in the world should have something that says "Luxury" about them, instead of being as average as average can get while still keeping the Corvette price.
Yes but why is it more expensive to be a beautiful snowflake in THIS game as compared to others? Is the snowflake in NWN somehow more awesome than being a snowflake in another game? When people pay higher than average costs to become a snowflake, they should get a better than average snowflake.
I want to try this argument from a different angle. Can someone tell me why mounts in this game are worth more than mounts in another game? How is it that respec'ing is worth more in this game than other games? What is so special about bags in this game that they cost more than other games? The list is long, all with the…
I hope someone posts about respec'ing 3 times a day until they bend a little and let us pay gold for it or maybe a FEW AD. There are plenty of ways for them to make money that don't all but prevent builders from building builds. :)
