Post through acr,so I can't link stuff. However there is a sticky in the GD part of the forum from one of the devs.Seems he/she has been placed as top dog for the NW team.Anyway,it says they are listening and looking into this mess.Full details are there, not that there is a ton of info anyway. It's at the very top,so…
Made through DS with some bumps along the way.Took a few tries to work out a good skill combo, but I got it.And even though I am now lv67,I am scaled back to 64.And it happens as soon as you hit 65.So now I find my self stuck on Water Node.Untill I can find help or get tried of trying and just move to the next map zone.Sure…
The way I am looking at all the changes,is much like everyone else. With great dislike. What it comes down to is they more or less changed the rules of the game fight in the middle of it.Not sure how much if any warning was given about these changes, but laying odds it was little to none. The level 60 zones were end game…
Not a problem for me.I normally see them before hitting them.Unless in the middle of combat, but since I have seen little to no traps in any of the (former) level 60 things, should be all good. And even if they do add them to the high level stuff,i'm a CW I can port over most if not all traps unharmed.
Read half of this thread before getting to the point that I had to speak.Solo anything isn't ever going to happen.Neverwinter is well known for being based on D&D.And D&D in it's self is a table top MMO.Yes other games have the solo choice, but this is not those games.I myself see no need for solo runs,as an MMO is made to…
Voted other. Not even sure what half of them are.Lycans would be fun.Though it really don't need to be limited to just wolves.Since it is an illness that can effect many things. And I know D&D don't list them as a race, but this isn't D&D,nor is this a table top game.So lets not be to quick to push the idea aside. My only…
Not enough info to say really. They just said the class was coming.Untill we can see skills, feats and passives,no way to even guess at what race might be best.Though for all intents, human would be the best I could say.Just because it's very general.
The only place GS is or ever will be a problem is in PvP.And removing it wouldn't help that anyway. If this was about removing the overload slots or making so there was only one gear. Then maybe. The real problem is it's to easy to become OP.And they just keep adding new ways to power up.Not sure why, since mobs aren't…
All you people getting mad, need to relax. The loss of game time or whatever is a small price to pay if they get rid of the spammers.Or fix the problems with lag.Oh and make it stop crashing the game following the opening movie when you go to make a new character.
As to the state of the game.I have to disagree that it is having end of days problems. If you think it is go check out PWE's other game Forsaken World.Just looking at the forum there will show you a dead and doomed game. As for PvP.I been back playing here again for a few weeks after being gone for six months.Seems to me…
I use IT on tab all the time for both PvE and PvP.Mainly for upping the chance to tag mobs with creeping frost.Plus IT boosts CoI's damage from chill stacks.Throw in CC or RoF to cover when IT runs out to give time to set it up again. And with soloing bosses popping it down and porting over it,the adds follow and they are…
None of that gear looks so bad. And who cares what it looks like as long as the stats are good. Fashion will take care of covering it anyway. And they just gave out free fashion, so everyone should be set.
Did some looking in to things Icy Rays can get up to a 75% damage boost if slotted in Spell Mastery. 50% from the skill it's self,20% from the feat. And a 5% if you have the PvP set. If AP gain is based on how much damage was done as well as everything else that effects AP gain. Then there is the answer. As for tenacity, I…
Bronzewood dose not stack. And can be AoE applied. There is a 20 sec wait to reapply it. Not sure if that time counts from first apply or after it runs off. Not been able to tell yet.
I might always be the top score in PvP. But I like playing as a CW. Mainy of my wins come from stealing caps when it's clear the other team will beat me like a rag doll. I use the grim thauma set. I pull in 29k hp with it. It is try it dose lack in power and a bit in the defence. Profound's stats are only about 10-20…
I'm running with Bronzewood myself. It's like an extra 8% armor pen on the normal. And since CW armor pen is said to be bugged, it is really helpful. If it really is. Even if it's not, still worth having. Since an AoE can mark a whole party or group of mobs. It's only the encounters that will mark, but all your skills get…
The profound set isn't really worth it.Unless it's got for the spell mastery boosts. The stat changes from grim to it are no more than 10-20 points from what I seen. Though I am debating the profound set with non pvp rings, neck and belt. And maybe a weapon offhand set.But haven't looked into it yet. Best thing to do though…
I have bronzewood in my weapon. It's more or less armor pen with a set 8% of armor bypassed.Thought at it's max (P.bronzewood) is 16%.Has proven it's self worth the 60k AD I spent on it.
If you're asking about use in PvP.CC has that nice AoE debuff of attack.Though as pointed out you should have the feats for it as well as the AoE feats. If you mean single target PvE.I myself tend to go with MM.Great range if you have the feat for it.Plus 5 hits in all and builds stacks to boost other skills.
9 out of 10 GWF's will fall to me in PvP.Why,because I play smarter not harder.I know I'm screwed if I get backed into a corner.Thats why I never port back away from anyone in PvP if it can be helped.Float like a butterfly, kite like there is a twister.High damage isn't needed for it as well.RoE and Chilling cloud debuff…
I roll with PvP gear (full Grim set) full time. For both PvE and PvP.I make some skill changes between them, but I'm not weak or a push over.29k HP,more than most TR's and GWF's that I have seen. And 2200 def to back that up.Topped off with 1800 recovery. The key is to play smarter not harder though.Using our range and combing…
Just a run through of what I learned along the way. Most CTA's are about the same for the most part, but the small stuff is what will get you.So this is what I use, aside from shield. Then again I'm a bit more tanky than most other CW's. Choke won't work on the bigger stronger mobs.So not worth even using it.Push is great help…
To sleep to read every post so if this was said before, sorry. A little trick I learned in PvP (and it works for PvE as well).Don't port backwards away from the GWF/GF.Rather go forward through them. This will put you behind them and in most cases confuses them it seems. Also leaves them open to attack.Use at wills on the GWF…
I'll admit don't much if anything about MoF CW.Though I do know Spellstorm as I am one.And I know PvP well enough to know that premades are also the top 1% of cash shopers.Who mainly like to go with striker builds for high crit damge.I also know that 1% still leaves 99% of CW's.So with respect to all, facts need to be…
I found it hard to port in battle at first too. After awhile I changed the button used to do so.It helped a lot with the timing and made porting more useful.Try moving it some place easier for you to hit when you need it.I put mine on the mouse wheel. As I recall it was "middle press" on the list of key binds.
Welcome to PWE games.Though the devs made a mistake (and we all do from time to time). It is up to PWE what will or will not happen to players. And my 3 years on their other game Forsaken World have showed there is no way to guess what they will or will not do.As they are kings of far and few answers. So no real reason to…
This happens with games. At least they are working on fixing it right now.Unlike another PWE game that takes months if not longer to get a fix done if at all.So yeah if you think this is bad go play Forsaken World for awhile.Or stay frosty and relax while they do their job.So they don't feel rushed and get it fixed right…
