Since Mod 18 dropped, my Young Yeti's initial appearance (Yeti Runt) is gone.. the other three 'tiers' are fine (Growler, Bullish, Primal) but the Runt is invisible. This doesn't bother me, he still rips things up just fine.
As I'm typing this, there are 53 instances of PE, averaging 30 players each.. That's 1590 players.. (lets round up to 1600, so much easier).. So 53x4 mortars is 212 mortars. 1600 players trying to use 212 mortars is 7.5+ players per mortar, each having to wait for the cool down timer.. Whoever came up with the timer didn't…
No score, no rewards. Sounds perfect to me, that's what I was going to suggest. Also a good idea. In addition, I'd suggest losing the 'safe spawn point' and drop everyone into the actual skirmish area. Oh, and have (some of) the monster paths set to go near there, so if someone joins and AFKs they'll get attacked and can't…
Still bugged.. Got a token on the char I ran with day 1. Must have done the CTA 50 times on day 2, threw out the useless Mini Frastr (Seriously-it's not even cannon fodder, what's with that?), the horn a couple of times too.. still no token. Here's a thought. Maybe put stuff on a separate platform ahead of time, see what…
I knew I wouldn't see the wolf since this is my 5th Winterfest, and I've claimed it on all characters... However it's Day 2 I'm not seeing the Refinement Pack. Hopefully the others will work out.
I agree, this whole companion 'sleeping on their feet' thing looks ridiculous. I expect my companion to be alert and watching my back while I'm dealing with things. ;) However, if it's something that's staying, they need to review the type of companion for more appropriate animations. Soul puppets don't need sleep, but I'd…
I should have said so in the first post, sorry 'bout that. Yes, I know the place is there. I've already had a decent poke at the new system on the preview server. What I'm looking to know is if there will be one on stronghold grounds and if we need to build it. If we have to go to PE to do our crafting, I can see a lot of…
Great work. I start the launcher, no prob. Server status "Green", great. Patch? Complete. Click Play, and the launcher disappears, but the game itself no longer loads. Good job, make sure you give the unpaid intern/code monkey in the closet an extra banana.
I'm sure all the new content is great, can't wait to see it. However, since the last big update last week (July 25) I'm lucky to be able to spend 5 consecutive minutes anywhere before the game crashes. Hard. Hard enough to tank my machine.
Okay, I know I'll take some flak just for throwing the idea out there, but I don't care. Once upon a time, when things were simpler and the astrals flowed like water, there was a promotion wherein if the player registered their shiny new NVidia GeForce branded video card, they got 1 million astrals. It's on the Promo Code…
What's next, a pop-up in-game on a random interval (such as every 5-25 mins) saying "Enter Capcha code or be disconnected in 15 seconds...."? Problem there is it would always be happening in mid-battle, or other inconvenient times. Maybe one when you're about to appear in game (so you select char, enter game, load zone,…
The "free" one doesn't seem to be an option. I have an open character slot, so that shouldn't be the problem.. 5 characters at L70, and a new one just under L30. Anyone able to claim it?
From the Patch Notes: Art, Animation, and Graphics: * Certain Dwarven beards that had lost their color have been restored to their former glory. Good, thanks.. any idea if they (or perhaps the rest) will be fixed? Or will we be looking for free appearance change tokens for us to get them back to where they were? I ask…
From the Patch Notes: Art, Animation, and Graphics * Certain Dwarven beards that had lost their color have been restored to their former glory. Well done. Will they (or, the rest) be completely fixed next time out, or are we getting free appearance changes to get them right? I'm still not back to my black beard. (Before…
I've got some mixed opinions on the new changes and tweaks, but that's not what I'm here about. Seems a sudden change has come over one of my characters. Overnight, I've gone grey. Not too happy about it. So, guess I'm off to get some Just-for-Dwarves.
I've got mixed opinions on many of these tweaks and fixes, but this post isn't about that. It's about a sudden, overnight change to one of my characters. Seems I've gone grey quite quickly. Hoping it's temporary, meantime I s'pose I;m off to get some Just-for-Dwarves.
I find my Guild Leader (rank 7) character is usually back at a gate in PE when I load, while the other characters that are rank 6's are usually still in the Stronghold. Not always, and sometimes one of the others gets kicked back to town as well. My wife has the same thing happening frequently as well.
Thank you. That's the first time I think anyone (official) has actually answered whether or not the PvP aspect is optional in any of the threads on the topic.
Our guild is PvE, and consists of my wife and I. Could we maybe just have (buy) a key to someplace on Coriol Street, mind our own business, and leave the PvPers to ransack the countryside outside the Enclave?
I'm having the same problem with my GWF.. He's just turned 65. I commit the point (first of new choices), switch to Feats and the Powers tab starts flashing again. Commit the feat point, switch back and it's reset.. However my CW and SW have had no problems leveling.
I finally said screw it, took the 2 minutes to d/l and install chrome, relabeled it's launcher icon "NWN Gateway" and set the gateway as it's homepage. The gateway also appears to run more smoothly in the Chrome window than it ever did in FF, but that might just be because I haven't seen it in a week and a half.
In my opinion, the 'new' invocation system is punative to the players. I only have 5 characters (one too new to invoke), but getting them through the system is a slow, painful process now. So, please devs, can we (the players, who have supported you for a very long time) have another kick in the crotch? The first one will…
An odd one, maybe, but I'd like to see the ability to make basic changes to your companions. Just hair and skin colour (standard palletes, when first 'equipped') and possibly the chance to throw dye packs at them to change thier gear's colours. Just a few variables to set on the companion, shouldn't be difficult.
