Except in their own words it was billed as a striker first, defender second. A standard bait and switch tactic, one I hoped they wouldn't of used, but it seems they did.
That's a terrible idea. Having to lug around 2 sets, having to run 2 specs. What's next. If they want to force mix PvE and PvP, which was an even worse Idea to begin with, why force people to change when playing between the 2.
I agree that Dungeon and Skirm are not good for xp, While I disagree that creep farming is good, I'll give u that leadership is at an acceptable level. As for foundry, I can't be bothered.
Unfortunately, this patch won't go a long way to fixing the GWF damage group role. Minor damage buffs aren't the only thing that was needed to fix the class. Glad Sentinels and threat seems to function better though.
Mark should be a debuff automatically applied to anything hit by the GF, by any of his abilities, for a set amount of time. Then give them a short range dodge.
These changes didn't really help the GWF, sure it buffed him a little, but the real problems with the class are still there, and won't be fixed now it seems. This class will sink further and further as new classes are added.

The problem with reaping strike and unstoppable, is there is no consistency to the rate. Correct me if I'm wrong but no other class has a charge up rate on an at will like our reaping strike. So many bad people in this thread, blocking caps is a stupid offense. Blocking spamming is another story, but caps blocking is just plain wrong and people banning for no good reason should get reverse bans on them.
GWF survivability isn't all it's cracked up to be. Try tanking 10+ mobs outside an astral shield for a couple seconds with full survivability and life steal gear in say a Castle Never environment, and then get back to us.
Reason there isn't a lot of the good gear on the market, is that most are GWF have issues finding T2 runs atm. Unlike CW and TR which are the preferred classes for dungeon delves. So without a lot of GWF running and clearing content as quickly as the other classes, you won't see as much of their flow down loot ending up on…
