  • Well it's more interesting then my results. I don't have any log files even though eventually and at random Neverwinter crashes. The error handler that is supposed to send data back on a crash fails afterwards and hangs in a way that looks like it's still working, but even given hours it never does anything...
  • I just rebuilt my system and since I knew a few other people who have played this, I decide to reinstall it. I can play for awhile just fine. Then suddenly I get graphical bugs that I don't happen in any other games and then NWO crashes after a variable amount of time. My new system runs a I5-6600k, 16 GB of DDR4 2400 ram,…
  • This is tons of fun when my only dungeon delve time after I get home from work (& before I have to go to sleep here on the east coast of the US) is the prime time late night for europe. Half my group in a typical pug doesn't even speak or type passable english. I may speak a bit of 6 languages personally, but I don't speak…
  • What slow AP accrual...? My GWF can toss off a slam in under a minute... At least twice as fast as my TR or CW and roughly on par with my DC... The only thing faster is probably the GF...
  • I also posted my experience in that thread, but I didn't lay it out so nicely. Same result basically, but we did last up until the 1st boss (Epic Mad Dragon). I'm in T1 or PvP gear (I switched just to see if it would help). It was frankly really ugly. Dead. I'm focus targeted and I sort of stay up with AS, then when it…
  • Having a lvl 60 of each type... and having ported them all to the test server... I wouldn't roll a executioner TR, bugs with bleeds reduce my damage by nearly half... For pure PvP though the certainly not intended 'stealth kill with daggers' build is still OP, but otherwise they took a fairly hefty hit. What you really…
  • I don't need yet another power I have to find a space for. It's a good way of getting cookie cutter 'you must use this' builds... Besides that there are no respecs for me to even test the effectiveness on the preview server, so...
  • Lol, the average person is an idiot. But even idiots could figure out 'stand in the blue healing circle' to some degree. But a 'fix' that makes everyone required means everyone has to be on their game. Everyone fails when anyone is an idiot... Now I refer you back to 'the average person is an idiot' and you'll see why this…
  • I hope you plan to only heal in guild teams... I can see the ranting of 'OMG you are the worst healer ever! I keep having to use potions!' and if it is at all possible to kick someone from a dungeons then they will. Or they will leave and everyone has to start over again... It's going to be a huge mess in PuGs...
  • I don't know... bleed for TR was hit pretty hard... We may see 1GF/2 CW/2 DC (So while the defense buff doesn't stack the clerics can heal each other since AS counts as a HoT now and so is reduced on the caster by righteousness). Though CW's got a bit of a PvE nerf as well in areas... My renegade for instance will be hurt…
  • Before it took it's nerf... Enfeeblement in PvP. Now... who knows exactly how bad double stacks of Enfeeble are, so how worthwhile cleanse is... Cleanse should remove enfeeble, bleed, poison, and other similar conditions (But I'd have to parse alot of logs to tell if it is or not).
  • The 'AoE circles' are the time to pop a roar and hopefully interrupt and in that brief gap between circles a nice takedown will shut them up for awhile. I run Extinctions build (or my version of it), but I tore those guys to pieces. Also while you cannot seem to avoid the first hit from the silly circles completely,…
  • My DC did that... After 3 deaths I just didn't care. The only character of mine to solo the Rime Hound was my CW. My TR couldn't handle it at all and just insta died... Even with another player with me my TR died in that fight. My GWF could almost do it, but that last spawn = chain CC by the mobs until I would die.
  • Lol, only GF's and GWF's can give my CW problems in PvP solo. Though GWF's are the worst as unstoppable trumps control powers (nearly always). However both classes can stunlock you and have you quite dead before you can manage to pick yourself up again. That said I have played every class and 5 of them to 60. Hardest to…
  • Ok, lvl 60 feats & Powers as I used them based on this build... Feats: http://www.mediafire.com/download/cwv2y9qtetg7wyl/Irenys_Feats.jpg Powers: http://www.mediafire.com/download/h5qc56cmhrywr5r/Irenys_Powers_1.jpg http://www.mediafire.com/download/9zm8d565qi83ol1/Irenys_Powers_2.jpg…
  • While personally I speak English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Mandarin/Cantonese... I doubt I could review more than a couple of foundry quests in the game that were not in English. I'm certain I have a bit broader language scattering then most people in the US (or Canada, or even Mexico). I'm sure eventually…
  • If he doesn't get a chance, I'll grab a new set of pics of my GWF which followed this style of build and post them. I'm not sure if I'll get the chance tonight, but certainly tomorrow.
  • Sadly Cryptic seems to want a dungeon that averages 40-60 minutes to travel through from start to finish. As opposed to skirmishes which are designed at 20-30 minutes or PvP at 10-20 minutes. With this in mind the daily awards, limit on foundry time to complete, and other design choices make sense. Also think he means more…
  • Rust monsters who could weaken (lessen damage) and enfeeble (reducing defense) could be quite challenging. Tarrasque.... The original source of the whole 'vorpal' idea... I'd rather fight a elder dragon... At least in PnP. In this game I can imagine massive bleeds and massive HP...

  • I originally selected beholder and alter chose mindflayer, so I have characters on both.
  • Since I've played each of the classes you talk of, let's break things down a bit... The only class I have not extensively played at the moment. However minus the broken aggro mechanics, it sounds alot like how things worked in some classic MMOs. Tanking has always faced some difficulties in MMOS and I've seen some GF's do…
  • I support epic skirmishes, with saw a small chance to drop purple items and a good number of blue drops as well as some real gold at the end (2 gold coins for instance would be nice). Some may run them for fun, but without an incentive most players probably would not. In fact purple jewelry is a solid reasons to run these,…
  • My GWF is not currently geared for T2's, but is on beholder and that sounds like fun... Depending on when I may be able to join in...
  • Actually GWF's have two other AoE encounter powers: Not So Fast & Punishing Charge. Though along with roar each has issues. Not So Fast should root rather than slow (to keep mobs near you) and Punishing Charge should take Roars knockback. Roar should be for building more determination and generating threat. Realistically…
  • Yes, even though I've been using it since wms was available to me, I still have trouble remembering to tap... hold... tap, hold... which is interrupted only by popping encounters as needed, unstoppable, or slam. Unstoppable changes the pace a bit as well...
  • Well I took my GWF using this build up to level 53 now. Still doing really well in quest line content, even did an abortive (the PuG just didn't have what it takes for the final boss) run through the wolf den dungeon before I outleveled it. Using pure greens I outdamaged and out killed everyone. I did deviate at one point…
  • A good GWF is all in the build. And that said there is no 'one true build', but at least a few select powers and feats any good GWF should have. My GWF is lvl 53 (currently, though I have lvl 60 DC/TR/CW), but I only need to use potions when my healer companion dies and I'm fighting multiple elites or bosses (which is…
  • I've also seen some times where unstoppable should be fired and free you from existing CC, but it fails to go off. Or goes off, but doesn't free you from existing CC. Both PvE and PvP. It seems as if unstoppable can be interrupted...
  • I've actually felt a dropoff in power @ 40 (though minor), felt feeble until around lvl 14-15, godlike between 16 & 40... I'm hoping the 50+ will be where all my feats kick in and I can finish off my build to feel stronger yet.
  • While this has been answered already... For PvP this is such an issue also because of the speed. A good CW who is trying to take you out will let a melee class (GF, GWF, TR) hit the CP your on first distracting you, then they wander into range, doubletap enfeeble, strike, and your dead in under 3 seconds. If you manage to…
