I was so excited to get a Doohickey and now I find out that the visuals don't even work on my female character. Extremely disappointing. Knowing that the Honey Badger is still bugged after more than a year I'm sure the Doohickey visual bug will never be fixed.
I've enjoyed this game for more than a year and I'm very disappointed with the Tiamat rollout, the encounter itself and its queue system. I've run the Tiamat fight about 10 times now and I've lost every single one. The problem is not the fight itself, the fight is pretty simple and straight forward, nor is it the challenge…
I like the idea of a "Q" type character helping the player with gadgets but I never liked taking inventory space away from the player. In one of my quests the player needed to unlock a door with a key from a specific bad guy but I didn't give them a physical key I just had the prompts tell them they acquired the key and…
So you are allowed freedom of speech and I am not? Interesting. And a code of conduct violation? I noted the tone of your posts and I strongly disagreed with you about your characterization of the contest, its participants and the game in general. There is no need to defend yourself, I disagree with you and that's it. If…
I didn't resort to name calling, I simply said you're a bitter and discontented gamer. I believe your posts back up that assertion. The rest of my post was at worst neutral since it had both negative observations and positive suggestions. If I wanted to troll I would have kept my post simple, misleading and vague. As yours…
@sn0st0rmz, I've met some bitter and discontented gamers in my years but you have to be near the top. I don't think I've seen you post a single positive, constructive, or even non-hostile post during this entire contest. I think we all agree that Cryptic/PWE is clearly out to milk as much money as possible from the fan…
I just wanted to thank everyone that played and reviewed my Foundry, Relative Security, thanks to you guys I was finally able to get my Book Imp (YAY)! I'm hoping this contest gets more people playing the Foundry quests, its one of my favorite parts of the game and I'm looking forward to more contests in the future.…
Since the new mod the game freezes either on the Cryptic load screen or the Neverwinter title screen. I've gotten the game to load twice since Tyranny of Dragons launched. It's very frustrating being unable to enjoy the new content or the events going on right now. This is the first major issue I've had with Neverwinter…
My quest is "Relative Security" NW-DFRVDGKQ7 Lord Adrian, The Protector's cousin, has come to Neverwinter with mercenaries to aid in retaking the city but secret forces plot and conspire Neverwinter's downfall. made specifically for the contest, hope you enjoy it. :)
Thanks for the detailed review :) I've made a bunch of corrections already and I'll have the rest done by tomorrow. I'll play your quest tomorrow as well.
@Casmelak, Thank you for the detailed review and comments. I appreciate the effort you put into it, especially since I thought I fixed all the little floating/sinking issues with the arrows, furniture, etc. Yeah, I used Errtu, I know he doesn't like dealing with mortals and he's been banished and there are timeline issues.…
Thanks for reviewing my quest. I tried your Orc Raid Investigation and thought it was a fun combat quest that used the summer festival map very well. I'll try your other quest in the near future.
I check out the DM Studio and none of the projectors were working in there but I'll try the graphics change suggestion and see if that does anything. Thanks guys
Thank you all for the continued comments, I've revised the quest several times and I think that right now its in its "final" form. All your input has been very helpful and I've learned a lot from playing through your quests as well. The quest is a bit short and straight forward but I wanted it to be just a bit more than 15…
I'll trade quests with you. I just finished and I really enjoyed your quest with its evil fairy tale feel. The only comments I had were a bit minor. In the the thicket with the witch its a bit difficult to maneuver and find the correct path to the various goals, could you either highlight the "correct" path a bit more or…
Just finished your quest and I thought your story was interesting as was the way you set up the encounters. Obviously its a work in progress so I look forward to trying it when its done. The only suggestion I would make would be to add more detail to the forest, maybe a few non-combat creatures, or some bushes and…
I liked the quest, it was fun with a good mix of story and combat. The only comments/suggestions I have would be to add a bit more detail to the cave/mine and the cave was a bit on the dark side. Other than that, great quest. I hope you'll try mine too, The Missing Unseen NW-DLW8SB9CN. Its a bit more hack & slash than…
I just finished your quest and i had a blast. One of the best mind bender quests I've played from the foundry. Didn't find the password but I wasn't looking that hard to be honest, just had fun with the quest. The new filter for foundry is ridiculous, especially since one of the characters in my quest is named "John". I'd…
I liked your quest and I think its a good first effort. The boss battle was particularly entertaining. The only two suggestions I have would be to add a waypoint before "kill the keymaster" that is "find the keymaster" so the player knows they have to work through the tunnels and find the guy. The other thing is that since…
I ran your quest and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Don't have any critiques that I didn't already see in earlier posts. I'm looking forward to your next chapter. I'd appreciate it if you would try my quest as well. The Missing Unseen NW-DLW8SB9CN
First off I want to say that I enjoyed your quest quite a bit. You made great use of multiple maps, I liked the variety of indoor and outdoor. I liked the names of the mobs, the costumes you gave them, and the weapons you gave them. I learned a lot from the comments and suggestions I received for my first quest and some of…
I liked the concept of the quest, it was good. I would make a couple suggestions. Go weirder in the landscape of the mind, the animals were a good start but think more Salvadore Dali or Beetlejuice for the landscape. During the Find your Passion part change the color of the flames so it looks more magical and weirder maybe…
I liked this quest quite a bit. The story was great, you made some very good maps, and the end battle was interesting. I would have put more combat in as a general rule, but that's just personal taste. All in all, a very good effort. I'm looking forward to your next one. :) I'd appreciate it if you would try my quest and…
@firekatt, I'm glad you enjoyed my quest and feel free to use any ideas you liked. That was my first quest and a big learning experience in terms of fitting everything together. It took several revisions to get to the point its at. If you have any questions about how I worked out the boss just ask me.
