I both like and hate it... To a certain extent, I like the 16 quests. I think it's cool that they change every hour so it gives you something new and different in each little area. I don't like that I can only get 4 quests at a time. Quests in these areas are often synergistic - that is, to get X of this item, I'm going to…
Had spent most of that DD time looking for a solid PK, one that wasn't bugged on entering... finally got in one, was past the 2nd boss, and blam... sigh
So, to fix some of the issues we're seeing with foundry, how about adding either tags or categories to the foundry content? That way, intensely-story-driven missions can be available for those who are seeking story, missions that have fun mechanics for those seeking unique experiences, monster challenge missions for those…
I have a lot of sympathy. In this situation, literally your only recourse to try to recoup an item that by all accounts should have been yours is to try to force your hand. I say good show. It's too bad the party was made up of people who didn't share that sympathy.
Fix #7 worked for me again, and it had worked before and my launcher was now going white Correction: nope, I thought it did, but it didn't. I also cleared my cookies and cache, and that made it load one time, but as soon as I put in my username and password, it crashed and started doing the white screen again.
Almost soloed as a lvl 26 rogue... had to kite to traps in the second "defeat x waves" battle. I only had to stop because I had promised to be somewhere and didn't realize it was a group dungeon, but had spent an hour and 15 minutes in it already without dying once :)
Geesh, people go crazy when a server crashes. it's totally normal, people :) Anyway, I can't get into my character through the gateway anymore, either :(
I just wish for "true stealth"... I tend to play rogues because I like skipping fights. When I'm running around in open-world areas and I have to travel back and forth between wildly distant map points, I'd rather be able to skip fighting the same group of mobs for the 50th time. As such, stealth should be something you…
I think that the problem is simply that the trickster rogue is the only GOOD class so far. By which I mean - it's the only class (maybe besides control wizards) that seem to have all the major combat mechanic problems worked out and feels functional through all solo combat.
My point is that if you don't enjoy the gameplay because of bad initial mechanics, then it's completely relevant to comment on those mechanics and try to get them changed. For me, then, the class is a bad class and I can't understand why anyone would want to play it. A class could be awesome at max level and horrible early…
I don't want to waste the hours of my life on a combat style I don't enjoy. Standing in place slowly swinging a sword means simply mashing the same button over and over again. there's no skill at all, at low levels. no thanks.
My experience with the GWF led me to not want to play the game any more after the last beta weekend. However, I discovered the thief and couldn't be happier. Made it to level 37 this weekend, hah. GWF blows chunks because of how slow it is. All they need to do is give it the ability to move while swinging and all will be…
