A good practice here is to get behind the mob and knock them towards your dps. Though this skill is far less annoying compared to Pally's Relentless Avenger.
PVP needs a complete rework, in my opinion. I think removing a GFs ability to close down will make it almost irrelevant in PVP, The class will be forced to wait for targets to come near him rather than be able to chase them down. Similiarly, this will adversely affect PVE players. I think based on what we have seen in the…
I think there's much more to improve in terms of balance in PVP than just the speed buff of GF's. In PVE at 4k+ runs, the speed buff of ITF is the only thing keeping the buffer build just as relevant as a DPS build. In addition, removing speed buff in ITF might bring the class down to the level of OP, the other melee class…
Ranking is not what I'm after. I'm after more variations. This game has become so repetitive. Sure, more challenging content would be nice, but we're just getting harder versions of the same stuff. It's a tiny improvement that comes only once every few months. SH patch was huge because it was something and long-term that a…
Are you talking about solo play or pve? Getting twisted will help you get a lot of power, you'll also want some arm pen, so if you have that guild boon it would be better to switch to arm pen instead of power. For feats, you can try getting powerful attack and crushing pin. Other than that there's not much you can do to…
I'm not sure, but IMO no skill should loop buffs or debuffs. The devs are planning on introducing some new stuff and this might become a problem later on.
You can't just spam ITF and cast dailies and have perma-steel defense. Before I can run CN without a healer and just buff DPS by 180% and carry a 2.5k ilvl team to the end. That is not the case anymore, hence it's a big adjustment. Also forgot to add: Before we just stacked defense, now we should only limit our DR to 80%.…
You need to check the type of gears you have. I'd expect GFs at 2.8k to hit 80% DR even without guild boons. I don't know when getting arm pen as a tank suddenly became a thing, but it's not going to be effective if you are going to be tanking difficult content. The only way to make that stat effective is if you are always…
I see what you are getting at now, to be honest, solo content is only difficult for GF tanks at the start. When you have around 2.5k ilvl and most of you boons, solo content is still pretty easy even as a tank. I'm pure tactician tank and I can still easily solo the new campaign location which even some DPS classes find…
It's not particularly hard to get to 60% resistance ignored and you really have to do the math as to how you can get top dps. You really don't need to pressure yourself into getting recovery if you are using a DPS build. It's better to deal the most damage you can dish out now rather than shorten the wait for your next…
Be careful with Draconic, you don't want to go beyond 60% resistance ignored. Go for Vorpal, you are a DPS build not utility, take full advantage of it. Why go Flourish? You'll want more AoE attacks like Enforced Threat or Lunging strike, same goes for when you are tanking. KV is good for the group, but again, you are…
You need to get it to the highest rank to benefit from the recovery boost. Otherwise you are only getting the defensive mitigation boost, which you might have already maxed out.
Where did you hear that? Loyal avenger gives you power, arm pen and crit. Dex for GF only gives arm penn, deflect and AoE resist. AP recharge comes from Con, not Dex.
Soulforged is also a good option. You can keep it at lesser if don't have the resources for a higher rank. With a lathander's set, you will get healed back to almost full life when you get auto-revived and you heal your party up as well.
I'm not too sure why you are going with both recovery and arm pen. If you go for arm pen it's best to get as close to 60% damage ignored. But if you want recovery, you should go ahead and stack as much of it as possible.
Those already have adequate information already listed in-game. What kind of guide are you looking for? Just a tip, some weapon enchantments have increase weapon-damage, don't confuse these with increased damage. This damage is only based on your weapon's base damage rather than the total damage you deal.
