I've just noticed this problem too. Not helpful in combat even if there is way to get out of the 'freeze'.

Personally I find if I'm not in Protector's Enclave when I accept a queued dungeon/skirmish etc then I connect a lot easier. But yes doing it from PE, it oftens takes 2-3 goes to actually get to the instance and that often means I'm kicked when I do finally arrive.

@j0kerspsycho thanks for your guide. I waited to Lvl 60 and respecced using your advise (Stormwarden for PVE) and its made a massive difference to my single player experience and in group situations. Only thing I've done differently is use split strike rather than rapid strike as I'd got used to the former. And reading up…
